    Hi Sabrina! The yield is actually how many yards of wick it takes to weigh out to 1 pound. So, for the LX21, it takes 352 yards of wick to equal 1 pound. The ROC (rate of consumption) tells you how many oz. per hour that the wick burns up. I have read on Atkins & Pearce's website that their wicks are all tested in straight paraffin wax without additives so, if you add additives (FO, Steric, etc.), it doesn't really help that much because you are using a different type of fuel. I think the ROC does give you a good idea of a starting point and wicks in different families with similar burn rates. HTH, Kim

    I have been pulling my hair out trying to design a new logo but I've come to realize I just am not that talented :rolleyes2 . Can someone please recommend a good designer. Also my company name is Jayko & Ashby so I have to be very careful about the font I use or people won't be able to read it lol.     Nothing again this weekend...I'n starting to see a pattern forming here :rolleyes2 . I'm getting ready to head off to Minnesota for the Bitter Creek Convention!!! I know I'm posting a little bit early but I'll be busy all weekend and want something to read when I get back haha! Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

    I have nothing in mine :(We are celebrating my Mom & Dad's 25th Weding Anniversary this weekend so it won't be a productive weekend but it will definately be fun! After all that is over I have to start getting ready for my trip to Minnesota for the BC Convention next weekend!Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

    Happy Friday!!! I hope everyone has had a good week. I have a million things I want to do this weekend but I probably won't get to do half of them I am making alot of BCN Lemon bundt cake CO products this weekend! I just love love love this FO and I'm not even a lemon person lol. I've got lotion, a 3-wick, some pillars and maybe even a few bath bombs to do. What's everyone else got going on.

    I was talking about marking the candle to know where your level line is. The level surface is great but I'll be damned if I've found one in this house anywhere haha

    On their homepage, they have a scroll along the side and I'm pretty sure they have the jar I want but I don't know which one it is??? It looks just like the madison jar; straight sided with a thin bottom. Has anyone else ever ordered this paticular jar from them? [ATTACH]15361[/ATTACH]

    TGIF Everyone!!!!! I have about (10) tart scents to pour this weekend and then I'm going to play with pillars. I have to get my swap basket ready for the Bitter Creek Convention and there's nothing like waiting 'til the last minute Just wondering what all my other candle buddies were up to. Any shows this weekend?

    Beer and lots of it! It's been a bad week lol. I won't have my shrinkwrap until next week so I'm taking the weekend off from tarts but I am going to try salt bars this weekend! We are going to get close to 70 degrees this weekend though so it's going to be hard to stay inside...Hope everyone has a great weeekend!!!

    The weekend is finally here!!! I have (9) more scents to pour tonight and my tart stock will be done! Well, at least until I get my new FOs from Flickers lol. That will bring my scent list up to about 60. After that, I think I will attempt to make liquid soap again because the soap I made with the class is cloudy . Hope everyone has a great weekend!

    This is my favorite thread so I thought I would start it. Should have started it yesterday but my eyes were crossed from looking for the golden egg lol. I have been pouring tarts since 9:00 this morning. I gave my scent list to one of my Dad's friends and he ordered 1 of everything on my list . I've poured 344 so far (24 per scent + 8 extra honeysuckle) and still have a few to do. That's one way to make me get in gear haha. Hope everyone has a great Easter!!!!

    I was just wondering if anyone had experience with this seller. I ordered a TOG mold Feb. 13th and still haven't heard anything about my order. I tried to e-mail him through Etsy on March 5:(th to see when it would ship but he has never responded. I paid through paypal and I don't want to go past my dispute time limit but I don't want to be pushy either.

    Definately don't cancel your upcoming shows. I've seen your work in the gallery and all of your candles are beautiful! Just chalk it up to experience and start getting ready for your future shows.

    They really are beautiful candles!!! On the "blistering", Could it be fingernailing you're getting? I know alot of people were having trouble with it at one time. I had it too but only with one kind of wax. I placed a link below of one incident on the board.
