    Thanks. I know it's not a very good picture but if I try to load my clear pictures the file is too big. I have to use the economy setting on my camera to get files small enough to download to the board.:undecided

    I wanted to post a picture of my label to see what you think. Please don't pay attention to the candle lol . I am working on testing my container candles but wanted to try something different so I decided to try my first chuck. As you can tell it needs alot of work (not overfilling the container would help :embarasse ) Sorry my picture isn't the clearest. Jayko & Ashby is at the top. You can see it very plain when you are looking at the candle but it's not very clear in the picture. [ATTACH]11101[/ATTACH]

    The ones I received were not crystal clear. They seemed to have a fog on them. I guess I just got a bad batch if everyone else's were OK.

    Bigcat - I thought about doing that but I figured it would come loose sooner or later from taking the cap on and off.

    You're right. The filament fits really well. It's the metal part of the cap that feels loose.

    Thanks for the replies. I've had wax sink in before but this is an actual hole through the middle of the candle. I've just never had this happen before. I hit the top with a heatgun to smooth it out but I'm not sure if that will be enough to take care of it. I didn't put a wick in because i'm just testing so when I poke my hole for the wick I guess I will find out.:embarasse Do either of you use this wax or did you find something you liked better?     I bought the Madison Jars from Fillmore containers and I just love the look of them but the lids don't fit very well. I was hoping I could get away without using a lid and just put a clear disk over the top and shrink wrap it but I can't find a disk that will fit. Does anyone else use these and, if so, do you just deal with the loose lid or did you do something else? TIA, Kim

    Well, I've officially given up on J223 because I can't control the wet spots so I bought 6006a, 4630 and I have 10lbs of 4627 to test. I poured a madison jar for each wax and the 6006a got a great big hole down the center of the candle. I stuck a toothpick down it to see how far down it went and it is almost half way down the jar. Does anyone know what caused this? Info: Heated wax to 195 Added FO at 190 added 1 drop liquid dye at 185 poured at 160 into heated jar (170 in oven) let it cool on the counter Is the soy causing this or am I? Thanks for the help, Kim

    Thanks for all the advise you guys. I really appreciate it. I have a 10lb sample of 4627 that someone was nice enough to send me but I only poured 1 candle with it and decided to wait til I had more time to test it. Does this get wet spots as bad as J223 does? I'm like you Jane, the wet spots I get are all over the jar and they look horrible. Do any of you have problems with wet spots with the 4630. I really do love the J223 wax but I just can't get past the wet spots

    Is 4630 comparable to 4627. I'm considering going to 4627 and dealing with the messiness as long as i can get it wicked right.
