    Thanks for posting Deb! I will try anything at this point. If I don't get the spots under control, I'm going to have to switch waxes. Does the wax leave any film on your jars when it pulls away?

    I am having a HORRIBLE time with wet spots. I warm the jars in the oven and pour at 155. I leave them in the oven to cool and it doesn't help. They come out alright but wet spots start appearing within a couple of hours. they start out as very small spots then they start to vein out (it actually looks like veins!!) until 3/4 of the wax has pulled away from the jar. It looks terrible and I'm not sure what to do to stop it. I even added 2oz/pp of crisco to see if that would help but it only slowed the process a little. Has anyone else had this problem?

    Are they going out of business or what? I called last year and was told that they were going to get new metro jars in at the beginning of the year but their website doesn't look like it's been updated since August .

    I wish I could e-mail them but they're too fast (not complaining). I ordered 10:30 Thursday night and they shipped my order by 1:00 the next day.:highfive: I hope they add it but I'm not expecting it. I will definately remember it next time.:embarasse

    I know this is a LONG shot but does anyone make a dupe for Avon's Casbah. they discontinued it a few years ago and it is my Mom's favorite.

    I'm using J223 for my containers. I've never tried the zinc for my pillars and I haven't made very many but LX wicks worked good for me. Scented has some amazing pillars in the gallery. She could give you better advice on those.

    Crafty1 & scented are WAY more qualified than I am to answer this question but I'm having the most luck with the Zinc 51-32-18 in my 3" dia. jars.

    I'm sorry, I need to go back to bed I guess. Somehow I got CD out of cotton core :rolleyes2 and I've never used them:confused: .     what is the diameter of your container? ETA: sorry posted late. If I calculated right, that's about 1/2oz. of FO. The wicking charts I use suggest a CD10 for that diameter.
