  1. I haven't smelled this scent but you made me want to order it after another post.i havent received it yet but I was searching about and am wondering if it's a blend of tobacco leaf and Amber mixed with tonka bean noir both crafters choice
  2. I didn't say the weight should be removed. We all know weight is supposed to be on there. I just said that I wouldn't hold it and I would move it to the bottom of it were my label. Side note I really like that the descriptions are on the label. I wish mine were big enough for that. I do not do 2 labels. I have the label on the lids of my jj candles and scent on warning label.
  3. This should probably be in classifieds instead of crafty discussions.
  4. I would think it's your pouring temp. I only worked with 6006 briefly but I never heated containers and still don't.
  5. Which pillar wax did u mix with the 4627 to make your clams? If you don't mind sharing. I mixed in some of the ky133 and got pretty good results. I believe I might have a good scoopable formula with the 4627. Gotta trial and error a bit more but so far the spoons that I'm using are coming back nearly clean. Nearly is not what I want lol
  6. I have a cart pending with them, I added it in. Debating on which cart to get first lol.
  7. I picked this one because of a few videos on YouTube that I had seen regarding tobacco scents and how they just loved them. From BC site Scent DescriptionA rich combination that opens with classic white gardenia, romantic rose, and sweet tonka bean. The fragrance deepens with earthy patchouli and blushing violet then completed with creamy sandalwood, grains of red cedar, and amber resin. Really enjoying this one. Not one of my typical scents that is normally jump on. This is a soft sensual blend. I will definitely reorder. Nice oob and traveled throughout on my warmer. I waxed this a week ago, melts were great and will test candle in another week
  8. Thank you! Will check their site later tonight
  9. Scent Description from RE Site The air after a thunderstorm is thick with ozone, crushed apple blossoms, wet roses and bruised flowers. Notes of honey and sweet vanilla are mixed with dried fruits, sheer musk, and floral jasmine. A complex and intoxicating scent. Really enjoying this fragrance so far. Great oob on the lighter side but when placed in my warmer it drifted throughout the entire house. Totally get the ozone blossoms, vanilla and hints of musk. Waxed it today will revisit in a couple weeks.
  10. That sounds like one that i would love. Thank you!
  11. I'm not sure if the difference between the original blue and others because I haven't checked, but I keep it on hand for everything.
  12. https://www.coventrycreations.com/index.php?option=com_opencart&route=information/information&information_id=15 Just one of many articles about the subject. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/getting-the-lead-out/ The real issue beside lead wick is the actual fragrance used. We do not know exactly what is used in some oils but low quality lower cost oils tend to be more dangerous health wise than the actual wax used. I have stayed away from fo containing phthalates, but years from now I'm sure it will be something else lol.
  13. I do not know why people think soy is so great. It's just as chemically treated as paraffin. all kinds of info online soy versus paraffin.once someone sees something it's hard to get it out of their head even if its wrong.its the same as All these misleading political ads running on tv. Rarely will the ones that seen the ad will see the retraction.
  14. I have not tried that fragrance but Wellington had quality oils. I haven't purchased from them in awhile, but I see they have a fall promo going on now
  15. I use those magic erasers for house cleaning and blue dawn. Hasn't failed me yet. I guess I would've been diagnosed with poor blood circulation or Smurf syndrome because my hands were blue.knocked an entire bottle of blue dye over and omg what a mess. It took awhile but I got it all up and off.
  16. Brown sugar and fig I have in 2 of my carts, but that's 1 fragrance I haven't tried but will get on my next order.
  17. It's not a powder even though that was the blend I seen online. I tried plumeria with baby powder and baby lotion and a baby clean that I have but to me it doesn't smell like plumeria or a baby powder but such a good fragrance. I wish I had saved the candle.
  18. Amber sensual and cream brulee threw nicely. Warm vanilla sugar as well. Those are the only 3 that I can even think of.
  19. If we knew they wouldn't be hidden. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ sorry I couldn't resist. Lol
  20. Hi @Marleigha 😁Thank you! no notes and no oil. I had a bunch of her candles and a case of her samples. They have a mix online of plumeria and baby powder but that's not it. She didn't blend her own. I'm guessing where she got it from is no longer in business.
  21. This was not a custom blend my mom ordered it years ago and it smelled so good. I only have a small sample of the scent in wax and have been searching for it online but can't find it. She doesn't remember where she ordered it from. To me it smells like loves baby soft with coconut and papaya maybe?? Has anyone heard of this fo ?
  22. The best candle that I have found retail has got to be colonial candles. I loved the oval container. They are 22 oz and are $25 normally. I bought it because it was on clearance and the container. Melon was the one that I picked up and while it didn't carry through the house it did the entire upstairs. Pretty sure they are paraffin wax. They burned great, however halfway down the container was extremely hot, and by the time it was finished it was a decent amount of sooting which I'm sure some came from me tilting to blow out. Lol. I make no weekly trips to Wal-Mart just to see the candle section. I take notes on what's empty on their shelves lol. Picked up a few melts to test since so many have been doing reviews on YouTube with them..
  23. It reminds me of the old ribbon candy my grandpa used to get at christmas
  24. Scanning around as i usually do i came across GOLDEN WAX MELT AND TART SOY WAX at candle science. Has anyone used this and if so what's your thoughts?
