  1. @Marleigha their newest fragrance that is my absolute favorite is Coastal kale. Their ultimate anx5 bold line, Bartlett pear, black water orchid, clean cotton, coconut lime verbena, cottage breeze, fresh cut roses, fresh vanilla, frosty cocoa, hot buttered rum, mango peach salsa, peach &sweet berries, strawberries & cream, white berries balsam
  2. Has anyone else placed their order yet? I swear this is like getting free shipping for me lol. Interested in which scent you decided on for your free bottle and sample
  3. Its just something about them that I don't like any longer.
  4. Love them and laugh. I renamed a couple of mine and I get strange looks, I could only imagine the looks I'd get from what I've found online. I Want to say "It's life people nobody gets out alive."
  5. I would try curing a couple weeks then test burn again.
  6. 4627 is the bomb for containers. I was reading about how some like to mix the 4625 in with the 4627 for melts. 4794 was recommended on bc years ago for clams and such. I think mixing the 4630 with a harder type would give a great melt. Next to 4627,4630 is my other fave. To me 4630 is 4627 but in a not so messy form lol, they both have good h&c throw.
  7. Not a bbw type that I generally would like, but got it from candlewic on a whim😅😅 I from candlewic site A Bath & Body Works Type best-selling tea fragrance! This oriental scent is a blend of citrus notes, exotic spices and beautiful jasmine. Soft tea notes round out this exciting fragrance. A classic scent imo. I can pick up on the tea notes along with a punch of citrus and spice. I thought it would be a soft fragrance oob,but it waxed well. It's not overpowering like some scents are, this is nice clean refreshing scent. I think I'd also like to blend in with this one, maybe a raspberry. I mixed up some samples of lotion and gave to a few regulars and they loved the fragrance. Will be keeping this one
  8. You will have to give your feedback on it😍
  9. Just wondering if anyone is using 4627 and Wood Wicks, and what they think about it. Seeing how so many have talked about the melt pool being oval shaped I'm really kicking myself in the ( ! ) for selling my oval containers without trying these wicks first...
  10. They are not a favorite of mine. I live in va and still will not order from them lol. Everyone has their favorites. RE would be up there for me as well and NG would round out my top 5. Money spent and if it's a miss you chalk it up and make a note not to get that particular scent from supplier again. To me c&s has a lot of misses in their oils, but u might come along and have the best luck with them. It's never ending with this thing called testing.
  11. There are threads on this. You will have to search and read and most oils are different from each supplier. I can order the same fo from 5 different companies and all will smell different. We have spent thousands on testing etc. What works for 1 might not the other lol. It's a thread on just about every supplier as well. Lol. Candlewic, candle science and bittercreek are my top 3.
  12. I would think they had some sort of indicator for each fragrance. I also am wondering if there is a name on the bottom with the warning label. Craft shows would annoy me but In a store I'd most likely sniff them all😂
  13. Free 1lb of fragrance oil with 75$ purchase. Don't forget you also get a 1 oz bottle of fo with every 1lb purchased. I was hoping for this sale this week and already had my cart loaded. I guess they won with which cart I'll get first 😂😂😂
  14. Kinda hard to change people's minds once damage has been done, unless you give facts. Some are interested in knowing and some don't care lol. All they go by is what smells good to them. You could always use the softer wax in a portion cup and call it scoopable. Please follow up and let me know how the new wax does for you👍😁
  15. Amber rose tobacco was my first tobacco scent and I love it. So glad that I got it. You will have to let me know how you like it.
  16. I have candles that I made years ago and as I mentioned on another thread I used to keep 1 of each scent that I made. The only fragrance I've seen that has had issues was a pear glacee. It smells a bit funky in the jar but I burned it and got the actual pear scent lol. Spices seem to be super strong so probably could cut back on fo load if going to cure for months. I purchased a bunch (cleared the shelf) of their storage boxes. It's 10 in the pack for 8$ and pp. I'm making my tarts and cubes and storing them in those.
  17. RE has a para soy tart and votive blend that's supposed to be great. I have it but haven't gotten around to testing it yet. You will come up with your own little tips and tricks one day if you stick with it.
  18. https://www.craftserver.com/topic/113379-paraffin-candles-dangerous/
  19. That's a big debate. Soy is just as chemically treated as any other wax. Most "studies" were actually paid by soy farmers or people who had their hands in soy money. So if people are told about said studies and converted over to soy they would make more money. I jumped on the soy bandwagon but wasn't there long. Studies never give full details either we only see what they want us to see. Then comes the wicks. Banning of lead wicks which @Belinda created a topic talking about as well as paraffin, because of one of her fb friends posts. The real culprit is the fo that's used and where the carcinogens come in at. It's a bunch of articles online to support what I've said. It's also several links in Belindas topic. If wax is bad for a candle then it would be bad for a melt. Paraffin is not bad though. Don't apologize for being nee,we all were at some point
  20. This is 1 that I have not tried,I haven't even ordered yet.. I have great results with ky133 from re Ky133 gives good throw after a couple days. . I guess we all keep testing different ones, even though we already have a winner lol Ky133 molds great and easy release from my molds.
  21. See what had happened was... the original poster asked for opinions on their label. I said what I would change if it were mine. You then came along and quoted what I said saying how it should be reading and I could hear it from you or TT with all your emojis. If you had a suggestion on the label it was no need to quote what I said and then tell me that i could hear it from you or TT, (because you are quoting me that means you are telling me and I'm not the one asking for label advice) It clearly makes more sense if they have something labeled incorrectly that it should be quoted to that particular person, after all you are trying to make them aware,I believe..... Quite frankly I'm done on the matter, and dont really care to go back and forth on the subject..
  22. No candle making today for me because i can hardly walk. (Back issues) So I decided to use my warmer. 3 parts Costal Kale and 1 part baby powder. Already obsessed with Costal Kale. Geesh knock me down adding a bit of bp. Will definitely keep this mix now I just need a name.
  23. There are other people selling "Tobacco Noir" but when u dig a bit deeper the scent they are using is a Tom Ford dupe of Tobacco Vanille. NotesTobacco leaf, spice notes, tonka bean, tobacco blossom, vanilla, cacao, dried fruits and woody notes Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford is one of the original 12 released in the Private Blend line of fragrances. A best-seller, it is a smooth oriental fragrance. The comfort of warm, sweet spices wrapping you in the long lasting arms of tobacco, tonka bean, vanilla and cacao, just like your favorite blanket warming you on a cold winter day
