  1. Another tip I didn't know until I asked is their freight quotes are wonderful. I don't live anywhere near as close to them as other suppliers, but their freight shipping for bulk orders and prices on products are almost the cheapest for me now because of their rates. I know this only applies to bulk orders, but wanted to chime in about it. I also like their random discounts and promotions as Kat notes. Edit to add: Candlewic is who I'm mentioning here
  2. Yes, I agree Gail! I emailed them not too long ago and told them many crafters skip over their scents due to lack of descriptions. They told me to email them specific ones I want info on if need be. I'm thinking you're probably right, just taking forever to get them all listed.
  3. Bummer, I guess half do and half don't as I scroll through their list.
  4. This blend doesn't seem too soft for tarts in your opinion?
  5. Not sure exactly what Peak smells like, had a list of oils I wanted to try, but then they closed awhile and now I have no intent to using them. Have you tried Fragrance Buddy? Some say it is similar.
  6. I think it may be time for a tart strike
  7. I noticed that also! However, I think the site just has not been updated. I know a supplier can go out of business at any time, but it definitely feels more promising that they are still around more than 5 years later.
  8. Now this makes me wonder if he still has access to the old blend.
  9. yeah, definitely not as soft as their container I tried, but did find clumps in the mix. I do notice the wax has a smell and is messy as far as debris compared to some other wax. However, it does perform decent. Too bad Ravens hasnt been on to confirm if it is the original or not.
  10. @Lizzy did you try pouring at different temps? How is the throw still?
  11. Ha! Guess I should shoot for the least dip possible and embrace like you Sarah
  12. I know, but even 4630 poured alone needs a repour for me, it always sinks in the middle no matter what temp it's poured at. I've also tried slower cooling and no go.
  13. I understand this is old, but just received 10 pounds of the tart wax to test less than a month ago. This is currently how their tart wax comes. Not sure if it is the version many did not care for or if they brought their old formula back, just still not in slabs. I also found some pretty large clumps in the mix of it all, not sure if that helps tell you the difference easier or not. Thought this may help some who still wonder....
  14. This statement makes sense because I was just wondering how their 130 could be 6006 when CW blend is 50/50 (I reached out to them) and 6006 is 70/30.
  15. My understanding after Nikki got clarification from CW is the 141 is 4625 and the 129 is 4794. Therefore, the throw may seem similar, but many have noted 4794 a stronger but not as long lasting throw as 4625 in past threads. Curious to hear your results, this craft is so subjective lol
  16. Update on this. Loren was unable to identify what this could be except that it could of been that batch, he has had no other complaints. I am thinking that it had to be because it was the bottom of the bag that I had left? Will try this wax again, I have received nothing but great customer service from Loren and the ladies that work for him. Plus we all know how great their oils are!
  17. Any updates or testers of the 6570 (Candles and Supplies paracoco) wax?
  18. I can almost guarantee its because she just doesn't want the work of cutting slabs. Her granulated waxes are in sample sizes...just a guess.
  19. I am with Belinda in stating that her waxes are from the same manufacturer as another supplier. It was confirmed to me that JS 50/50 parasoy pillar votive wax is the same as Problend 650/KY parasoy tart and votive blend. Both Flaming and Just Scent seem to carry the same waxes (likely all CJ Robinson manufactured): JS 123 all paraffin container wax (same as Flaming 400) JS 50/50 parasoy container wax (same as Flaming 600) JS 50/50 parasoy tart and votive (same as Flaming 650/Rustic KY parasoy) JS all paraffin pillar votive wax (same as Flaming 450/Rustic KY 133) This is purely my assumption though as I have not yet tested JS waxes due to the same reasons as Nickie. However, the ones mentioned above have the same MP, come in the same form, and have very similar descriptions (with Flaming always coming out on top with their instructions and details regarding FO load etc.).
