  1. do you think this is for real? I am so skeptical these days and really don't have to time to waste on someone just looking for a free product etc. Thanks Edited to remove email link and paste a copy of the email: Hello, my name is Michelle. I've seen your website while searching for "High Quality Body Souffles". Your site looks like it has lots of wonderful products, however I'm EXTREMELY skeptical about ordering before sampling. I was wondering if you'd be so kind to send me a few free product samples of your "Souffle". If so, I'd really really appreciate this. If you can do this for me, please send to the name and address I've provided you with below: Michelle Thank you kindly, warm regards, Michelle.
  2. So, I am wondering, has anyone tried these yet with the Solar Salt? and if so, what did you think of the size of the crystal, dissolve time etc?
  3. Well, I have to disagree with the Pink Sugar turning everything brown, in my experience the only thing it turns brown for me is soap and lotion. I use it in lotion bars, bath bombs, sprays, bath salts and body butters and none of them turn brown, or even tan, they keep their beautiful pink or white colors. I have some lotion bars from my original testers when I started making them in PS and they have not turned (over a year old). None of my bombs ever turn etc. I have PS sugar scrub and it doesn't turn either. In addition, the soy tarts I have from another candlemaker have never turned. Soooo...I don't know why they turned, did you use a ton of FO? It definitely sounds like they got to wet and turned into marshmallows on you, what did you have them setting on to cure? I will say, that although PS does not turn my products brown I have seen it react to metal and can get kind of rusty looking on the product (does that make sense?:undecided) So I never cure my bath bombs on metal or stainless. I don't know if this helped but it might eliminate the FO being the issue. Edited for spelling
  4. I'll give it a shot. I am guessing you are wanting a bright white base b4 you swirl in your blue and the TD might work although it says water based (or whatever it said). I would just pull a little soap out and add how much you want to it first to see how it disperses, and if it incorporates OK then add that soap to your pot and then proceed as planned. If it does not work, you don't have to add the TD, you can still add the blue swirl and you will probably still get a white base (unless your FO has Vanilla in it). I never add TD to my base and it is white. I use at least .50 - .80 oz of FO ppo, depending on the FO, and I do use some of MMS's FO and they recommend lower amounts but I like it stronger than that, I don't want to have to sniff the soap 3-4 times b4 I get a little bit of a wiff of sorts from the soap. IMO, the Scent companies always seem to recommend lower amounts than I use:D HTH and maybe someone with experience with the TD will chime in elle
  5. Carrie, how cool is that...thank you so much, you rock sista
  6. Anyone soaped JS Grapefruit Vanilla, if so did it discolor? TIA Michelle
  7. I know what you mean, but I like paying on line and then using carrier pick-up, I don't think I have been to the post office in 6-7 months. Just a note, if you under or over pay and have it picked up it is not checked once they take it to the post office so sometime it works to your advantage. I use Click n ship, paypal shipping and carrier pick-up soley now, it saves me a ton of time
  8. Correct me if I am wrong but I dont' think you can ship flat rate $8.10 on Paypal, which ticks me off to have to jump over to USPS site and use my card when I have funds in paypal most of the time to cover these costs
  9. You are most gracious to offer this information to everyone, you take care of your business first. Thank you for your generosity Michelle

  13. I don't know, that is why I did not want to buy a ton until I tested them, then I thought I can go buy some cupcakes and test them but not all styles of these things are the same...I guess I have to go to the grocery and look around and buy some diffent types to try I hate going to the grocery:D
  14. Yummmm...looks like a yummy freeze cake...I hope it doesn't discolor on you, I hate when that happens, love your creamy icing on top:D
  15. Oh my, those colors are purty, very nice...cool mold
  16. Yes, I checked at Sam's and they did not have the ones with individual sections for cupcakes. I did a google search initially b4 posting on here, I just did not want to buy 300 to start with. I was reading the post on bath bomb packaging and several said they gave their customers egg cartons (clear) to fill up when they were shopping. My bath bombs are to big for the egg cartons but will fit nicely in the cupcake containers. I thougt since some of the candlemakers made the pie type of candles they know of a B&B or candle supplier that sold them in smaller quantities. Guppygirl suggested Gordon Foods, and we have a new one locally so I will try their as well. Thanks
  17. I put sugar in my FBB and make a facial scrub, it is divine, not to rough at all and my testers have loved it:o
  18. Lavender can be used in small amounts, just make sure to dilute it when pregnant and make sure to let your doc know anything you are using. My doc actually suggested Lavender to help me to relax towards the end of my 3rd trimester Edited to ask- Are you pregnant?

  21. Kristine, do you make your bombs the size of the meatballer? If so, do you think those cartons are big enough for the ornament type? I can't find the size of mine, they are not those huge softball ones, but more the size of regular round ornament (maybe a tad smaller), they are the size you typically see when you see them in stores TIA Michelle
  22. Ok I am not a candlemaker but have always wondered why you don't use lavender EO in your candles? Just curious
