  1. I purchased nearly all of Rhonda's fragrance oils (sample size) and have been pouring them this afternoon. Usually when I order like this, it's pretty much a hit-or-miss type thing and many samples never make it to wax. You know the ritual right? Every single sample I bought from Moonworks is going in my wax for a test. Wow, talk about some awesome, unique blends! These oils hit my wax and totally come alive. What I smell in the bottle is nice, really nice, but in wax the scents are awesome. Merlin's Forest reminds me of Dragon's Blood alot but even better. When I opened Fairy Garden, I thought Kudzu. In my wax I smell many different berries. Excellent berry type scent. Bay and Citrus totally tricked me. I am not a citrus person, never have been. In wax the citrus is not the predominant note but rather mild. It's the bay leaves that steps to the front in this one. This will be an excellent unisex type scent and one of the first I test. Guinevere's Attraction is not girly girl like the name might imply. I can definitely pick out the praline in this one but it is not a food scent. It's a very sensual type, a little powdery violet musk almost with some praline and amber as end notes. Celestial Sea is a very strong water scent. I haven't put it in wax yet. I have 7 more to put in wax and I'll update after they're poured. Her oils are definitely worth a test in your wax if you like the complex, unique type of scents. So far I'm loving these scents. Now if I get a good hot throw I'll be in love with Moonworks
  2. No, they went out of business about a year or so ago. Tony's (Southern Gardens) picked up most of her scents though so try there.
  3. I think it's lots more caramel than apple, but that's just me. All I know is when I burn this one at craft fairs I sell out of the scent. I was looking on Starville site this morning and notice they have two caramel scents. I think I'll try them and see what I get. You know what I think would make a great blend? FOH Apple Cobbler Delight and Caramel Dip mixed. Yum......
  4. For those that used FOH Caramel Dip, have you had any luck replacing the scent? I love the scent, both alone and as a mixer, and I'm having a heck of a time finding another one to replace it.
  5. What supplier for the fragrance? I've looked for a good Oatmeal Raisin Cookie forever. Dang, now I want a cookie
  6. Love your candles. I'm curious about the cake candle. Let me know how it burns. I've never tried one before.
  7. Awesome beautiful candles Scented. I love your technique; very unique!
  8. http://www.venusenterprises.info/Collection/ Try this link.
  9. No soot so far. Actually, the candle is burning beautifully. It's about 1/2 down the jar now and so far, no soot.
  10. I ordered the large and xlarge wood wicks from Lone Star. I have been testing them this week in a 16 oz Classic Jar. I use Comfort Blend and GL444 blended. The xlarge wick was too large, burned too hot, but the large has been perfect so far. Nice stong hot throw (I'm currently testing Lone Star's Indian Summer). It will take alot of testing before I'll even consider selling this type candle and I'll let you know as I try the different scents with this wick. As far as trimming goes, so far the wood does a pretty good job of staying on the short side. We'll see..... Oh, and yes, I can hear the crackling.
  11. http://www.soapsupplies.net/fragrance1.html Soap Supplies.net carries this scent ($20.95) and it's fantastic in candles and lotions. I haven't tried it in cp. She has great fragrances, you can't go wrong
  12. And I loved her Vanilla Lace. I've tried every dupe out there of this scent and none compare.
  13. That's the exact fragrances I used and no it didn't smell the same. I think it needs a different vanilla. Wildfire Creations sells Ms. Randy's Vanilla Bean.
  14. Excellent oils and very strong. I have many of the scents from there. Her Gardenia is so beautiful and throws like crazy. In fact, I haven't tried a scent there that doesn't have an excellent throw. Another favorite from there is the Sea Spray and Jasmine. I also use the CDN wicks from there.
