  1. Last summer AH/RE had a Key Lime fo that was on clearance, at the time I was obsessed with blending my own Key Lime Cheesecake so I bought 3 or 4 lbs of it based on a sample I'd received. It's an awesome Key Lime fragrance, has just a touch of vanilla to it and it's a true Key Lime scent (former FLA resident here!) with no fuel smell. If you'd like a sample of it plmk, I'd be happy to send you one.
  2. I think Moonworks has this too? If not available right now, email her & see if she's going to do a pre-buy soon. [ETA] Sorry! The Moonworks fo is Earthen Oak, iirc the description is similar though.
  3. Gah! I was hoping it would be anybody but WSP! Their shipping included with prices policy puts me off buying from them. Has anyone tried ordering multiple scents individually, so that they have to process each order for 1 scent & ship it individually? Wonder if that would make them change their policy.....
  4. I know WSP has one, but so does OT (new) and the Candlemaker's Store. Has anyone tried any of these, if so, how close to the original are they? And if you've tried one, have you tried it in a candle? Any help or comments would be appreciated! :smiley2:
  5. I haven't tried this fo but the description sounds dead on, it's from BCN. Tranquil Tropics Type BNL Relax under a tropical palm tree and soothe your senses with the sweet inviting aroma of fresh coconut and sensual vanilla. Note that this is not a true coconut fragrance, but definitely like a suntan oil. Compare to Hawaiian Tropics.
  6. A big hearty ditto to this! I can't get enough of smelling this myself, and it's a good seller too! As a test I even mixed it with another favorite, Pink Sugar. I tried the combo because the Tuscan Lace from Elements reminded me of something, this mix was very close.
  7. I haven't tried the Honeydew but an unexpected winner for me from BCS is their Melon Medley. I couldn't believe how strong the H & C throw was at 6%!
  8. I really like the one from Daystar, it's called Pink Kisses. It was the first I tried & I pretty much stopped looking after that. True to the original and a kick bootie hot & cold thrower in my 464 blend.
  9. but it only turned up two posts! I know there's been more but I can't find them. I like Peak's but it's not as close to the BBW original as I would like. Any help would be greatly appreciated, even a link to an old post if someone's bookmarked it! Thank you all in advance. [Edited to add] Ha! Once I'd posted this I got the box with similar threads and found several posts on Twilight Woods! I think I've answered my own question but if anyone wants to chime in with recent experiences I'd love to hear them!
  10. CB, NG, BCN & AH all have/have had a Cilantro only FO. The trick may be finding a Cucumber FO that it wouldn't overwhelm! [Edited to add] Oh! I forgot about NG's Cucumber Wasabi Cilantro! I haven't poured my sample yet but oob I love it!
  11. Well, just had a call from the CC company to check on whether some new attempts at purchases on my debit card were me. That card was cancelled last week after the first attempts to fraudulently use it were declined. Just an fyi.
  12. 25. mzpickles - MC debit, attempted purchase Street-Feet.com (in the UK!!) last Tuesday or Wednesday. Bank caught it though. I haven't ordered any candle supplies in at least a month or 6 weeks, but it might be easier for me to list who I haven't ordered from in the last year.
  13. I'm not sure what the Glade Apple Cinnamon smells like. I like a really really really cinnamony Apple Cinnamon, but haven't been able to find one from a supplier that's spicey enough. So I blended Bert's Apple Cinnamon Cider (still a fav!) 50/50 with her Cinnamon Red Hots, you can still smell the apple but the CRHs kicks it up a notch or two! Love me some spicey apple scents!
  14. IMO it's not as floral oob as it sounds in the description.
  15. They also have an Olive Blossom FO!
  16. The review at Save on Scents is good: http://www.saveonscents.com/product_info.php/products_id/949 I have a linden tree in my front yard and I'd like to find a realistic fo as well. I bought the one from Sweet Cakes and oob it's close, haven't tried it in wax though and I don't make B&B. Also I don't know if you noticed, but the FNWL link is for their Linden floral water, the FO is oos.
  17. OMG, I totally agree!! It's my favorite type of fig fragrance, a green fig scent. Also Cierra's Osmanthus & Fig Leaf is really good too! But there's a slight problem with recommending fig fo's. IMO there's three main types, the sugary fig scents (like the filling of Fig Newtons), the fruity fig scents (like a ripe fig) and the green fig scents that smell like the crushed leaves of the fig tree. I've even heard some fig scents referred to as spicy. So which type are you looking for?
  18. That's too bad. I know what it's like to want to use a favorite scent in things you make for yourself, only to have it fall short of expectations!
  19. I don't know if it's a close dupe, but BCN has a BNL version of WVS that has a good hot & cold throw in my 464 soy blend at 8%. Also, to Candlebuddy's original question, I've mixed it with a clementine fo, not for sale but for myself and I liked it pretty well.
  20. I found the BNL one at BCN to be kind of on the perfumey side, too much so for my taste but other people seem to like it. I was looking for a scent that smelled like the Russian Olive trees we have here in CO when they are in bloom. I have a tester of OB from Sweet Cakes that smells more like real olive blossoms oob, but it's one of those scents that's waiting for me to get a *roundtooit* so I can't speak to how well it works in a product. Another vendor that has an Olive Blossom is Cierra Candle Supply. It's on sale right now and I don't know if it's just a sale or a prelude to being discontinued. I haven't tried it but I noticed it was there. I hths!
