  1. Thanks ... I just checked them out ... out of 38 oils, 31 of them are out of stock! Even the new scents for July are out of stock ... go figure!
  2. My question exactly! How do you order from them? I can't find their website; when I type in www.thescentedbean.com, I get nothing. When I type in www.scentedbean.com, I still come up with nothing. To those who order from them, would you kindly post their addy? Thanks.
  3. I use the hazelnut from KY ... to my nose, it's a straight hazelnut, although on their website it does say "buttery" in the description. I use it as a mixer with a buttery-type vanilla scent to make Hazelnut Butter Cookies.
  4. I use a 60z in my mason jars (3.15"), which are just about the same width as status jars (3").
  5. I buy from www.stonestew.com ... located 1 1/2 hours east of the Blue Ridge Mts. in NC.
  6. Creme Brulee is a big seller for me too (KY) ... it's a great mixer with just about all fruit scents ... 1oz per pound works for me in 6006.
  7. Check out www.candlescience.com. If you use soy, they have an accurate scent rating for each fo. I use 6006 and off the top of my head, I would recommend... Macintosh Apple Brandied Pear Mistletoe (in the spring/summer I rename Meadow Mist) Cranberry Marmalade Pumpkin Souffle Clean Cotton Black Cherry Honeysuckle Jasmine Wildberry Mousse Love Spell I'm sure there are many more. Candle Science sells excellent quality oils, not to mention their awesome customer service. I'm sure most on this board would agree.
  8. Just took a sniff of my sample ... Citrus Spice Spiced Citrus Garden Spicy Citrus & Herbs
  9. I would recommend White Tea & Ginger too ... I buy mine from The Candle Source ... strong throw in 6006 ... customers love this scent.
  10. I keep the name too ... I color it the shade of brown sugar.
  11. I've done many weddings, never a problem with scented candles ... I'm sure it could happen, it's just never happened to me. However, if a bride has her heart set on scented candles, I always suggest light scents ... sometimes they listen, sometimes they don't!
  12. When I think of going to a football game, I think of drinking something warm like hot chocolate, coffee or a nice hot toddy! A mix of Leather and Vanilla Lace might be nice too.
  13. Yes, it is a dupe. I used the one from CandleScience. It smells awesome ... vanilla with a just a touch of musk (to my nose anyway). Some customers only smell vanilla.
  14. I make that one too ... all KY scents Hot Chocolate - med brown Toasted Marshmallow - ivory Graham Cracker Crust - tan
  15. I don't know what wax you use, but I use 6006 and I use 1oz fragrance oil per pound of wax. Hope this helps.
  16. I think they are different. To my nose, Pumpkin Cornbread is more of a bakery scent ... Pumpkin Souffle is a rich/heavier spiced pumpkin scent.
  17. I just made Vanilla Lace candles for a Wedding in October ... awesome scent.
  18. 1. Fruit - Vanilla Lime (KY) 2. Bakery - Homemade Apple Pie (BG) 3. Drink - Cafe Latte - mix of Creme Brulee (KY) & Roasted Coffee (KY) 3. Flowery - Hawaiian White Ginger (Candle Source) 4. Clean - Clean Cotton (CS) 5. Manly - ? 6. Spa - Bedtime Bath (Candle Source) 7. Holiday - Christmas Splendor (MC)/Christmas Tree (Berts)
  19. I just wanted to mention that their customer service is awesome!
  20. I love their Homemade Apple Pie, Maple Nut Crunch and Spiced Cranberry. Burnin' Love Cinnamon is awesome too ... it's hard for me to describe ... I get a red hot note, along with a complex pure cinnamon scent.
  21. Use up what I have, if any, and reorder.
  22. Honey Patchouli - Moonworks Sweet Patchouli - Bluegrass
  23. I agree with the above, but I also want to add ... Earthen Oak
