  1. I am looking for a nice golden pastry brown and a milk chocolate brown. What do ya'll use?
  2. Well crap, Sorry about that Candybee. Thought I was doing everyone a favor. Totally didn't catch it in your thread.
  3. Hey, just thought I would post a link to some recipes I found while doing a search. They look pretty awesome. http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=303
  4. ... to your melt and pour soap what would it be? What is your all time favorite substance to add?
  5. I'm not sure who has the best one, but I use Grandma's swingin' eggnog from peaks. it throw pretty well. HTH!
  6. ooOOoo, i like that idea. thanks.
  7. So I've been trying my hand at m & P and decided that I wanted to make a multi-purpose layer soap. I imagined it to have a moisturizing layer, a scrubby layer, a foaming layer, etc, etc. I tried to over saturate the scrubby layer with sugar so that you could feel the grains, but they eventually smooth over. any suggestions for the scrubby layer? Walnut shell? Jojoba spheres? I dunno. Waiting for all you brilliant soap geniuses to chime in.
  8. what does it smell like? I'm not sure what Arnica smells like. Maybe that will help get the creative juices flowing. I'd say that blue and green colors are a good start.
  9. Holy Cow! I've never seen so many flavoring oils in all my life! How well did they do in your lip balm? Did you still have to add sweetener?
  10. Thanks. I might just label them as 1oz melts (though they hold a little more than that). My 8 oz mason jars hold much more than 8 oz however.
  11. So I ordered a bunch from ebay. They're great and all, but they only hold about 1.5 ounces of wax. For those of you that use these do you still label them as 2oz (the wax is 2 fl oz. when liquid), I guess I shoulda realized they held 2oz of LIQUID!
