  1. this. i agree with. having lotion or soap in your product line description can be a boon. however, i would list off the popular bnb names that are household names, do they have candles, soap or lotion in the name? what does aveda (the name alone) tell you about the product? nothing. l*sh? nothing. YOU make the name, YOU make the products. YOU are the company. go with your gut.
  2. those are nice! i really like the shape of them.
  3. joining you all on the patch couch. i have about two ounces left, i am hording it for sure.
  4. pretty! god i love coffee. coffee anything. hmmmmmm. i bet it's good.
  5. huh. i have a latex allergy and mango is one of the triggers (but then so are rubber bands...) that is interesting. thanks for sharing>
  6. was this ever resolved? mango is related to latex, and can be a very serious allergen.
  7. those are very nice! i like the tops especially.
  8. you are the cutest thing! thanks for sharing video. (and i sound like i am from the movie fargo, so yes, we all have accents. you do too.)
  9. seems as though everyone else said it but patch blends wonderfully and really sticks in c.p. i just love it. i have a friend whose wife won't come in my house, when the soaping is happening because she says that if makes her smell like a hippy.
  10. i use a bread slicer and a good knife. it's what i had and it has worked for a long long time. this is the first one amazon had in the listing. i cannot imagine it really matters a great deal which one i use. http://www.amazon.com/Bread-Pal-Slicer-compact-storage/dp/B005YCKRMU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1329791674&sr=8-2 ftr, you see them all the time, at least around here, in the second hand stores. i bought mine for 3 dollars or so.
  11. i really hope that she actually does send the money.
  12. no, i understand wood is different prices in different places. here we can get felled trees for free by the river, or burn ash grindings from the city, or all kinds of things. if you live in a lot of the mountains i know of they are owned by huge corp. and the corp. isn't giving away anything for free. i totes get it. plus heating by wood is a lot of work. its a commitment.
  13. what do you want the salve to accomplish? what ingredients to you have?
  14. anything citrus, rose, amber, or vanilla. i also love the tree ones like tea tree, fir needle, rosewood, etc. i only use essential oils, absolutes, concretes, c02's et al so i source them from various places or create them myself via infusions, flower waxes, and hydrosols.
  15. i heated a shop space at my old house with gas, we had a line run from the basement to the garage/shop space. we also heated by woodstove for the house and garage. i like wood heat the best. the wood was mostly free although you have to work for it.
  16. that looks great. congrats on successful goatsmilk soap!
  17. Thanks so much! I was just looking around the open source world for something like this.
  18. mine are 7 oz. as for the other thing no comment.
