    Yep. It totally does happen. It happened to me locally a couple of years ago. What a PITA. My product was ruined and I never got my final check. UGH.

    I love them. I love getting them from people, it tells me a lot about them. You can tell tons about a person from their business cards, are they actually a small business or hobbiest turning pro? Are they a "business" owner aka MLM rep? Did they hire an artist to do their cards? Are they backed by money and using MOO cards or are they like me, more uh financially aware and using Vistaprint?

    Where in Texas, is it a mall in say a town like Abilene or a HUGE MALL in Houston? That would make a big difference to me. Do you know anyone in the area who can check on things for you? Like secret shop the store a couple of times a year?

    I do mostly consignment. I love it. I've done once in a store in another state, Texas as it happens, and they closed but it wasn't a big deal. I'm sending out soap to a different store also Texas on consignment. Now my situation maybe, probably is, different, these are small towns in an area where everyone knows everyone.

    So I got into a farmers market here! Which in itself is an accomplishment, the bigger FM’s here are picky and hard to get into. So I’m in two of them, the smaller one I sell soap and stuff at but mostly I do free herbal consultations for people who do not have access to an herbalist otherwise. The other is bigger and with way way more money so I sell soap there. Here are what I’ve been making for the bigger FM.

    I'm not a chandler. So I say this as a consumer and lover of candles. When I've seen them for sale they smell like Midland/Odessa in the summer, they make me itch, if someone could do them with EO's or unscented I would be allllll over them.
