  1. this site has some really cute favor packaging and ideas...i am using some of their items for my sister's wedding and shower. http://www.beau-coup.com/packaging.htm
  2. BCN's crushed ginger is super strong! i use less than 1 oz per pound, cuz it's will bite the sniffer any stronger. smells like real grated ginger. i blend it with vermont maple syrup for something different.
  3. dragonfire rocks in cp! it's a definite a wicker upper in a 70/30 soy/ paraffin blend, but it is super strong! one of my favorites to use.
  4. i would rather purchase them from places like this one : http://www.primsiliconebulbshoppe.com/ working with silicone is messy and stinky!
  5. love the color choices and i bet the scent is fab!
  6. looks good! now ya have me curious about this...
  7. i've got major swirl envy! that one in the middle looks good enough to take a bit out of,lol!
  8. so how did you color it? we tried powdered like micas and oxides, which didn't work...it all just sank to the bottom. it's not water soluble; so most B&B dyes won't work.
  9. i tried BCN's and was pleasantly surprised because it wasn't drying, and it didn't leave that glycerin like sticky residual feeling. now i use it every day when i am at work.
  10. his father passed away in the end of march... whatever their reasons for closing/ moving...i do send my condolences. i know my husband took it very hard when his father passed.
  11. the idea behind OCM is that when you clean your face with cleansers, it removes too much of the natural good oils in your skin; encouraging it to produce more. so by using the OCM, you aren't stripping your face of too much oil. here's the thread that has the info: http://www.forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=5612
  12. shea butter, emu oil, cocoa butter all help...have her try Zim's crack creme...it works great
  13. there is a product by Boots , i think it is a wonder balm scented mediterranean olive, almond & sage...love that scent!
  14. this is a good one to ask alan...quite a while back he used this method and posted pics. you could see the color through the translucent white...looks really cool in square molds.
  15. sells great for us, but the butter rum allspice sells better. i like both, but the one mentioned is more of a "dry" spice kinda of fo, and i tend to like sweeter fo's.
  16. don't know if they still carry it, but i loved indian summer in paraffin! anyone knows how it throws in soy?
  17. they look incredible! one thing i noticed is you didn't list the mud on the label for the mud wash.
  18. for business and gifts/swaps, and we use a lot of the end cuts for personal use.
  19. i don't know which ones you are considering, but JBN's are very different from each other. brown sugar and fig has a clean smell to it, slightly green, but not sweet. i like it, but will probably rename it. chestnuts & brown sugar is really good in soy and rocks in tarts. a great fall scent. nutty, a pinch of salt and sweet...i smell almond when i smell it oob. i have some peeps that like this one year round in their cabins.
  20. i am curing JBN's french pear now. i did light it the day after (parasoy blend), and i really liked it....will burn agai nto see if the throw is stronger.
