  1. I just got my tins in. I am testing and pouring the heck out of them.:rolleyes2
  2. I swirled my containers for years. I just put some color on a skrewer and swirled it around after it got cloudy. The only thing is, is that when the candle melts the wax becomes one color. Good luck.
  3. Several months ago I was getting frustrated with leveling candles, so I called Candlewic to order the thing. I asked the girl at Candlewic if it was worth that amount of money and she said she didn't think so. She told me just to level them in a hot skillet. I guess I'm glad she talked me out of it. Trying to talk DH into the mitre saw.
  4. Good job, Grama. I need to strain my wax, too.
  5. Thanks, Jadewicks, That's a wonderful idea. I will try that. If I come up with anything else I will be glad to post it. Thanks again.
  6. Elaine, I just sent you a PM.
  7. Hi, Elaine, are you going to scent yours? So, do you know how much FO to add?
  8. Yes, I want a hang tag that you can add scent to so they will know what they are buying. I have seen them on other candle sites. Can you add scent to your tags? TIA
  9. Does anybody know where to buy scent tags to attach to candles that have been shrink wrapped? TIA
  10. No bath. I poured 28 more candles yesterday with different FOs and they turned out great. I didn't know that oil is needed to make a candle mottle. I learn so much from you all and really appreciate everyone's willingness to help.
  11. I don't make jj, but on my 16 oz whisper jar I use ECO 14. Is the jj a 3 to 3.5" diameter? I am just now testing the CDs, but I know the ECOs work great with the 6006.
  12. Thanks, Karen. I am going to make some right now and go back to putting the FO in. I was trying to cut corners to get pictures for a website. Thanks for your reply.
  13. I get mine from www.labelsbythesheet.com also. They ship same day.
  14. This happens to me alot. Is this "frosting"? I used 1274, heated to 190, added color and poured between 185 and 190. There is NO mottling. I didn't use any FO on these as I was testing for color. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:undecided TIA Having trouble loading pics. Will try again.
