  1. Very cute and a great job! Rae
  2. I like them all, but I really like the octagon and square.
  3. I always cover my palm with boxes and completely cool them. I noticed that my round pillars turned out great, but the ovals did not and they were all poured and cooled at the same time. I will keep playing with them.
  4. The candles are beautiful and you take great pictures. Rae
  5. Your candles look great! I just got mine in this week and not all of mine look that good. I did a blue and it was beautiful. Did you use metal molds? Rae
  6. Where in Georgia do you live? I use IGI 6006 and have for about 8 years. I love it. If you are in need of the wax right now, I have about 6 cases of 6006. I would be glad to share to help you out. Rae
  7. Beautiful! Love the colors and scents. Great job! Rae
  8. Hello, Brian, I moved to Georgia 3 years ago and still getting use to having to order in supplies. I was in Dallas and could pick up everything I needed. I use Candle Science in NC and get a lot of FO's from Ky Candle Wax. What part of Georgia are you moving to? Stock up on as much as you can before you come. Rae:D
  9. Beautiful! I love the colors and this makes me want to try the sleeves. Great job! Rae
  10. It is very pretty. Love the colors.
  11. I think it is beautiful. I would certainly buy it.
  12. The flower pots are adorable. Great job! Rae
  13. I think the IGI 1274 is more translucent than the 1343. Rae
  14. Carole....that's the best news I have gotten in a long time. I have 4794 and, of course as you know, I have 6006. I will try mixing those. You are a real angel. I am going to look you up the next time I am in Texas!
  15. Thanks, Carole. I have an order in at LSCS and CS, but neither of them carry the 4614. That is IGI, right? Where do you get yours. LSCS also has a wick just for tealites that I am going to see if they will add that on. Thanks so much for your continued help. Rae
  16. I am using 4625 for the candle and the tealite. I use a CD4 for the tealite. I use the plugs when I pour so I have the hole for the tealite. My question is my tealite must be too hot and is melting the candle just enough to make it hard to get the old tealite out to put a new one in. Any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA!
  17. I like paraffin because you can do so much more with it. It is very easy to work with. I have tried several soy waxes and can't get it to look right. I don't like the cottage cheese top that goes with soy. Fredron....what wax did you decide is great for you? I love IGI 6006, IGI 4625 & IGI 1274. Would love to know what you came up with.
  18. Thanks Pam & Sara for your responses. I am loving pouring these new molds. Do you all wash the molds after every pour? TIA
  19. OMG.........I love silicone molds. I poured all 5 and the 2 pillars are so detailed I haven't gotten them out yet. Looking to buy some more. Thanks everybody for all your help. It worked great. Any particular mold favorites and/or suppliers? I don't know why I never tried the silicone molds. Rae:D
  20. Thank you, Sharon! I am going to try the molds this afternoon. Rae
  21. Thaks, Sara, I will find a small wire. Does the putty and tape stick to silicono? Rae
  22. Thanks, Wendy, I will try poking a wick pin through it. I guess the plumbers putty and tape will stick to silicone?
  23. I just received my first silicone molds this week from 3 different suppliers. Do you wick them the same way as metal molds? Do I drill a whole in the bottom for the wick? I emailed one of the suppliers about wicking 2 days ago and have not heard back from them. Any help would be appreciated. I can't wait to try them. TIA:D Rae
