I never used any other wax but 415.. So I am not familiar with your wax. . But just keep testing... When you find a good one. .you will know immediately. .and you will do a happy dance!!! I will tell you this. .get ready to to be spending plenty of money it is not cheap to do this. . -
I agree old glory.. Test..test..and more testing. . Once you find a scent that does have a good ht.. Then it is testing to get the right wick size. . but the more you do this the more you can kind of gauge what wick you want to test with ..sometimes I'm right sometimes I'm not then I start back over with another wick.. Sometime testing can be disheartening. . when you have several awesome smelling fragrances and none of them have a good ht.

I use 415 soy.. when I first started making candles I tried most every additive I could think of to try to get a better ht.. I finally came to the conclusion that if a scent didn't have the hot throw that I wanted I just went to the next scent.. because I could not tell adding the additives did any good.. but that is only my opinion and my observation on my experience..

I just bought Ah/re spritzer bottles..and love them.. I have tried several ways to control glitter.. this has been my best finding .. I also love their glitter..

Scent fading in lotion? only 3 days later.

I am no expert. . But I have made many batches of lotion. . I don't scent until I am ready to put it in containers..or when lotion is completely cool. I have found some fo's takes more than others.. So it is really up to you on how heavy scented you want your lotion.. I always start off light...you can always add more. . But do remember. ..when you let it set overnight. .i have found most time the scent will mature and get stronger.. But experimenting, to me is the fun of it. . Edited to say. .i always stay within the suggested Guidelines -

as I said in the above post I have received them like that when I have bought in bulk because they weigh them they don't count them .. so when I got them I counted them and bundled them in bundles of 100 then put them in Ziploc bags labeled what size they are.. makes it so much easier just to pull one out.. and like they say it does not hurt them .. they do look bad but they're not hurt..

I have not tried FB to see how it compares to berts..but have read it is strong with eucalyptus.. I still have some of berts. .i might buy an oz. To see how they are. . Has anyone tried it to compair?

You are lucky. . To have them all close to you. . I use 415.. I don't color my wax anymore. .but when I did. .i did have some trouble with frosting. . I also have trouble with fruit scents having a fuel smell. .

I think if it were me.. the first thing I would see is what supplier is closest to you.. so you can pick it up or at least they are close enough it doesn't cost a fortune to have it shipped.. I think every wax will have its challenges no matter which one you choose..

Another one I love is. . Fall Harvest.. And have tried several. .that sound close. .but they are not close at all. .

I wish they would have talltayl.. You would have made a wonderful business owner. . I am going to really miss some of there oils. . Has anyone used daystar's dupe of their patchouli orange? If so what is there feelings on it in cp soap?
