  1. I use the balsam and citrus from elements, those that have used Bert's Aspen forest, to know my nose it is the same if not it is very very close and has the awesome hot throw in 415 soy
  2. Sorry I didn't see this earlier... I have use nature Gardens I believe it's called Bubble licious ..smells just like the pink bubblegum from long ago and it does not discolor in cp soap
  3. Does it not normally discolor? I have not ever had a pink sugar that did not discolor. I also use Indiana Candle supply, pink sugar, but it does turn a dark chocolate brown..in cp soap.. it is also wonderful in 415 soy wax...it has an incredible HT..
  4. Those are beautiful love the colors
  5. So sorry to hear this news. Like others here, I had no idea she was sick. My heart goes out to her family. I to always loved her tinker bell signature. It so fit her, it was everywhere on this board. She was a great teacher, an inspiration. She will be missed..
  6. Scented..it has been a long time since I have used this old house .. So I don't remember all of the notes of the fragrance , but I did get a sample in this week from ah/re sample sale called ..Stone House reserve... there is something about it that reminds me of this old house .. if you would like a sniffle of it PM me your address and I'll get you some in the mail
  7. Just wondering if anyone here has used either of these Fo's in your cp soaping? If so how did Be Delicious compare to TSW Be Delicious? Does it A or D? I have used TSW for years, and have about enough left for one more batch, but thought I might give Tennessee's a try. I have a bottle I bought about a year ago, and have never used yet. I also have a bottle of the forest muse, i have never used yet.. Any feed back on it? Now that Tennessee is going out of business, does anyone know of another source for good, Be Delicious?

  12. At the very top left-hand corner there's a little area that says search... put in toner.. I just did that an several recipes and information came up
  13. Have you looked on Susan's blog? She has a wealth of info on her site .. http://swiftcraftymonkey.blogspot.com/?m=1 I don't make it either but if I were, an needed info this is one of the first places I would go to look
  14. Wonderful tutorial... also beautiful soaps, an colors
  15. I did want to update on the color. The pink has almost totally morphed and bled into and taken over the yellow and green embeds... even the main color pour was the green that you can see..it is now more pink than green. I use this same true red from Oregon trails in my CP soap and it does not bleed or transfer and stays beautiful but for some reason it's not compatible with Melt & Pour so I thought I would just pass that on I tried to post a picture showing this but for some reason it would not load up
  16. I use a heat gun..and love it.. I use 100% soy, and sometimes my tops are not as smooth as I want and a heat gun will smooth them out quickly. I use the heat gun for shrink wrapping my soap also.. I got mine at either Lowe's or Home Depot have had it several years.. HTH
  17. I have noticed that with some of my silicone molds. I just went ahead and used them, and I have never noticed or experienced any of the lingering scent transferring to my new soap.
  18. I have another question for you that make melt and pour a lot. I noticed my colors are fading any advice? I had used the brighter colored pink and it seems to be the one that's fading the most. but on a good note I can say that this fragrance has not clouded in anyway at all.
  19. Thank you for your info. And help. I can see it would be very expensive.. my reason for wanting to make it was for my granddaughter.. i had thought about the tree tea oil... i will do some more research...
  20. Has anybody used this essential oil For making cp soap? I was reading on the benefits of the laurel berry oil for acne . And was wondering if anybody has any feedback on it for this purpose ? I was thinking of doing 70% olive oil 30% Laurelberry oil.
  21. I have always liked this fragrance in my CP soap. I decided to try it in Melt & Pour And it smells heavenly, hoping it does not cloud up. my CP soap turn a light tannish color I could still see the swirls, so hoping this stays perfectly clear. There is no vanilla content in it so keeping my fingers crossed, but oh my how wonderful it smells!! I do have a question to you expert melt and pour soapers how do you keep your cuts going straight. it seems I always get off a little by the time I'm cutting through the log..
