  1. Um, did you forget something? :waiting:
  2. If you do a search for aroma ornies you'll come up w/a lot of threads that also may be helpful to you re: the heat and stuff.
  3. I can't see it. Couldn't see it yesterday, either. Oops, never mind, NOW I can see the one in the very first post. Nice colors.
  4. I personally think they look great - but I like frost :rolleyes2 I have no clue what's going on - mine NORMALLY turn out pretty uniform, no matter how many/what sizes I pour. :undecided
  5. Sorry, I wasn't trying to sound crabby - if I was thinking you were a stupidhead for not searching I wouldn't have even answered
  6. There's a ton of threads about this subject, but I'll start - I don't have a spigot - I just use a ladle for all three of mine. You'll hear both - some people wouldn't use w/a spigot, and some people wouldn't use without. It mainly comes down to personal preference.
  7. I've forgotten a couple of times, no biggie - all the old timers <ahem, Scented lol> say that once your molds are seasoned by use you don't need to spray them anyhow.
  8. Great job! I'm going to try them some day.
  9. You did a GREAT job on those - congratulations!
  10. Aztec in Knoxville has an EXCELLENT one!
  11. Once they're baked, they lose their capacity to absorb any more oil so it's a one time gig
  12. You're welcome - don't hold me to how much a lb will fill a gallon bag, though - it may be less - aroma beads are pretty small. Have fun with them!
  13. A pound would be a good place to start if you're not sure you want to do them long term - you're only using on average 4 tsp of beads per ornie (3x3). Um, I haven't looked at mine in awhile, I'm thinking a lb would be less than a gallon size ziplock, though. Maybe 3/4 of one. Btw, ornies are great - Love them! But they definitely are better in warmer weather - cold locks up the scent. Can't wait for summer so my car will smell great again!
  14. Those are beautiful, Manolis - great job!
  15. Your stuff is always so pretty - I love your hearts, too (I've gotten way behind in posting) - always love to see your work!
  16. We'll see when my next trip to TN is - then maybe I can make a side trip - it won't be this year, but perhaps next!
  17. Good job on that! I'm so jealous that you have a ct person to hang out with! Maybe some day when I'm independently wealthy I'll come and visit you two! lol
  18. Thanks, Luci, that's what I was trying to remember for Cindy in the craft section - I kept thinking something w/the word sun in it lol - now hopefully Cindy can find what she needs.
  19. I just noticed you were looking for a baby shoe or carriage, and whoever sells these baby block molds also has shoes - if you don't want to start a new thread, let me know and I'll do it to find out who is selling them now for you.
  20. Hold on and I'll find a link for you - might take a minute Well, here's a pic of a baby block candle I did for a boy's shower http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53626&highlight=baby+blocks - you can wrap them up really cute and have a nice hang tag or whatever stating the date of the shower, the baby's name, or whatever you want - I put mine in a small cello bag w/ribbon, and strung little baby block beads on the ribbon - they were really cute - I can post a pic of the finished product if you would like (btw, the pic show is pre-wicking - hadn't gotten them wicked yet). I got these molds from creativegemmolds, and I know someone on this forum bought her mold business from her, but I can't remember who it was and I can't find them - they had other molds aside from these - you can do a thread asking who took over for creativegemmolds and I'm sure you would find out - anyhow, I hope this gets you going in the direction you're looking for. - also, you really can't tell in the pic, but these candles have a lot of detail and are SO cute - and I scented them baby powder!
  21. There's all kinds of molds for baby shower candle favors - have you looked into getting them?
  22. There's a guy in my office who's from Knoxville - he and his wife just had their first baby this past Tuesday - I'm going to pour him (well, her, really) some baby block candles colored University of TN orange and white (go Vols). I know he'll love that since it's a boy.
