  1. no no no, not trying to get you wrong lol - I just don't get where the pine smell is coming from! Different sniffers and all that
  2. Doesn't smell like pine to me at all - I pour quite a bit of it - people love it.
  3. Michi - I believe you're thinking of Lidsville
  4. Prestos will melt around seven lbs of wax - each 3x6.5 holds 23 oz of wax. There is a wax calculator under general information to your left on the screen which you can use to determine different sizes. hth ets: I changed the oz you will need - hadn't made that size in awhile and went over to the calculator to double check my figure - should've done that first
  5. lmao at your scent suggestion for Howdy Partner Shouldn't that be Howdy Pardner? I'm going to think on this and see if I can come up with anything by chance.
  6. Flaming Boots comes to mind, but I have no idea why, or for what scent. So I'm of basically no use here lol - maybe something cinnamon?
  7. If you don't do windows or dishes, I have no use for you lol - um, the box just needs to be big enough to fit over the candles and rack.
  8. Ugh. If you have a large enough box to fit over your wire rack, you can use that to insulate your candles while cooling (you probably already know this, but just in case you don't). Can anyone take a pic of you cleaning that oven - I've never seen a man clean one before lol
  9. Love them (uh, and thanks for giving my technique the same name as your bf lol)! Um, I am still so iffy on the patch scent (not your candle, just the fo) - I especially love the first set you have here Oh, and ets, your thread title makes it sound to me as if you're saying nature stinks lol
  10. Great job on that - I've never done hurricanes but I know they're difficult for some - nice job for your first, for sure!
  11. Excellent burn you have there - you have every right to be proud! :highfive:
  12. This is how I keep mine under control http://www.candletech.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=6878&d=1150307485 and ets, heat guns are like anything else in this setting - they're as safe as you make them - you have to always pay attention to what is going on around you
  13. I haven't had that problem at all. But, if I put them in the freezer to cool off, it can flavor the ice, so I quit doing that.
  14. Very cute - I'm so in the mood for the holidays
  15. Your layers are looking great - reminds me of my ocean pillars - sorry I can't be of any help on higher mp/rustic effect
  16. You took the words right out of my mouth - HOLY CRAP! Congrats! You will be a busy, busy girl! And please DO post pics of your production line
  17. This was last year (I do the same thing pretty much each year) - this was before it was completed - I also set out gourds on the hay bales and some other fall foliage stuff (these scarecrows are cheap at walmart) to round it out and add more color.
  18. I'm digging the top ones, for sure - second set is a very pretty color - third set is great, also - doesn't look so much like you swished it so much as maybe it bled a little? Glad your others got snapped up in such a hurry, although I would've loved to have seen them
  19. Thanks guys, glad you like it - Sharyl, you did great on your first ones, so you'll be better than me in no time flat lol
  20. that sounds like a blast - good luck, but at least you know you'll have fun. That's what life's about.
  21. I'm going to post some for sale in the classifieds later this afternoon, fyi. It'll be in a few hours - only have about eight lbs or so.
  22. I can see the texture in the second pic quite well, Tammy. I think we can get the idea from that one
