  1. Oh I don't think patch will overpower lavender (a really strong one) at 50-50.
  2. I dunno about melting these down and trying again. I think they look cool, particularly that third one.
  3. My tilters are built so that I can vary my angles with a single push.
  4. So how is the soaping going?

  5. That's serious addiction Jeanie LMAO!! Of course I have had ideas swimming around for the past few years but that doesn't count
  6. Old Mill sold out years ago and Tony's/SGS took it over. SGS since has split into offering fragrances from three places and I hope all the links are on the website: http://southerngardenscents.com/ (I gave a quick scan and didn't see them, but surely they are there for an east and a west coast supplier.) Be warned though, they've dropped some of Old Mill's fragrances ...it might be a cost issue for ingredients or it might be that they don't move or it might be some other reason.
  7. LOL! Oh if only I thought of that! I thought it was a rename of Reindeer Poo so I put some candy cane and hot cocoa in there till I can figure out something that makes it diff. I honestly expected something cold and then pine/fir. I am thinking in the future it's going to get a dose of something cold. Wish I had wintergreen. I think that would make it fab.
  8. snowdrift carried this? If so, they're going OOB by Dec. 12. Just got the email yesterday.
  9. Finding a name for a bayberry and clove mix, nutcracker needs wicking so does Apple Cinnamon (tarts poured in all), Cinnamon Apple Peach, Tinsel, Elf Sweat, Snowman balls and then I'm going to look into zodiac colors to match with scents while contemplating of all things ... Valentine's Day stuff lol.
  10. Ahhh wait! Peak's French Vanilla Amber.
  11. Those Amazing Grace and that line come to mind. Just change the name to something Christmasy perhaps. The Tinsel from NG might be good in lotion too. Stuff is nice out of the bottle. You might have to check that it's skin safe.
  12. Just a note ... opinions are fine and we all have them along with what they often get compared to. If this thread turns into a pissing match though it will be locked for starters. Usually when a company ceases the customers are the ones involved in discussions of this nature. If you aren't/weren't a customer or you were a wanna be customer fine, carry on. If you weren't, find another bowl of Wheaties is what I'm saying.
  13. Spruce Xmas Tree for me doesn't have that "tree" smell, but I like it. Not the typical pine that smells like pine-sol. I can't even think of a tree smell per se so I'm no help there -- mostly cuz we don't move pine that much as it is. If you wanted a pine needle though ... that's Candlewic lol.
  14. Back to the topic at hand which has been about the company going oob and how to reach. Not about what main chromosome someone is. Future looks will start with weeding. If the topic starts to stray off FO it will find itself moved. Thanks.
  15. Let's keep this thread on topic. It has nothing to do about post counts or join dates etc. It's about TCS, which in this case equals Tennessee. If the thread spirals again, it will start with a lock. Thanks. Carry on.
  16. That's about a 50/50 call. Typically spicy scents are a wick up, but you can't bank on that, especially with reformulations and substitutions any more. Most of the simple cinnamon scents I have not had to wick up, but then you toss in the lovely spicy cloves and I usually have to increase.
  17. Tall dark & handsome Undercover Hunk Lethal Attraction Super Star Pin Up/Centerfold (I already know the two scents are hot to trot and I bet the are ever more so together) Naughty and oh so nice Alpha Male Chick Magnet I should stop lol.
  18. The only way to fix it is to remelt your wax, pour it out, reaffix your wick and pour again.
  19. Stearic and UV are what you'll need to add to it. Keep some vybar 103 on had in case you want to cut back on some of the mottling.
  20. I haven't seen anything like that either Traci. When I look at the label all I see is the fragrance (that's what first pops out at me.) I would up the font size on your name so you are not easily forgotten. I know the name comes first, but my eye is drawn to the fragrance and makes me want to forget the rest, so when it comes time to reorder, I don't remember who you are. Since I'm not likely to take the jar with me, I'll buy from someone else with a white label.
  21. I tried to buy most of the ones he said were too. What I don't like is that there's no reference to the oils any more. It's making me start marking bottles just in case other suppliers go oob.
  22. All the time, but then the fun comes from testing and finding it works or what's the worse thing, tweaking it?
