    Your measurements have to be pretty accurate to make a 1# batch of soap. The smallest size batch I recommend is a 2 # batch.

    It depends on what kind of sugar you are using. I don't color my natural sugar scrub at all. I like a soft color in emulsified sugar scrubs though.

    I let all my CP gell except for the goat milk bars. I think the gelled soap gets harder and lasts longer but I haven't noticed any difference in lather and bubbles between the two.

    I love the CLV from The Scent Works. It's great in CP soap and lotion also.

    Grumpy ..just pamper the bars and clean them up a bit. They will be fine. They sound like they will be very pretty.

    I always had good luck with an ECO 8 in the 8 oz jelly jars except for the cinnamon and for that I used the ECO 10. I trimmed the wick 1/4 inch for all the applications.

    Walmart had their Valentine candles & such out the day before Xmas so I would think you could jump into the next season NOW.

    I prefer a soap that is rectangular in a shape that will fit my hand.

    Before you purchase a case of apothecary jars I suggest you get a sample of it and test wicking it. It might save you some money in the long run.

    The soy containers will be even better with a longer cure.

    I like it only in the winter months...when spring & summer come I am ready for lighter and floral scents.

    I have ordered from Cozy Home and the shipping was quite fast. Even got a refund as she sent the order in a flat rate box. Maybe it's just a busier time of year for everyone.

    I don't like the minimum order at $100 but I love their soapdishes. Maybe someone could do a co-op after the 1st of the year.

    Most of my boxes are from Kangaroo Blue and have cutouts on the front so you can see what kind of soap it is. I do a few soaps in the Dan's bands from MMS also. People that just stop by to pick up a bar are satisfied buying the soaps nekid off the shelf.

    I use baby oatmeal in my lavender mint soap so I don't have to grind it.

    I use Lovespell from another company and I don't smell citrus in the scent at all. This is my best selling CP soap by far.
