I have cream f/o that I mix with peach f/o and strawberry f/o.

By far the best men's scent in CP soap for me is Drakkar. Next best is Patchouli in soap made with beer. I have soaped Moonlight Path and like it but I think it is a scent that women like as opposed to men.

I use 3 base recipes. My lard recipe has an iodine # of 56, my all vegetable is at 71 and the luxury is around 58.

I get my fish and also the bags at Kangaroo Blue but they are closed until August 15th. You may have to take a trip to the Dollar Store if you want to have fun this weekend.

I read that tallow makes a white soap and a hard bar but I have never used it myself.

Eugenia, Have you by any chance changed suppliers on your PKO flakes? I just got some from a new supplier and have had the two batches I used them in get so thick I couldn't stir. I called the supplier asking if they had stearic or Ewax mixed in the flakes and of course they said no one else had complained. I threw away that 10 lb bag and ordered again from the usual source.

I bought the Lil' Shaver from ForCraftssake.com and I use it all the time. I think it was less than $6. In fact I bought two of them and they work great for those that don't want to invest alot of $.

Anyone make wax-dipped pine cones?

I use 1343 for dipping pine cones and I triple dip them using the scented 1343 for the final dipping.
