Nice and simple. I'm thinking this would appeal to both guys and gals. Would the black color bleed off? I mean like, if you were using the bar with a light colored wash cloth or something like that, would the color bleed/stain the cloth?

It's nice that you were able to "test" it out so you could make sure the soap did it's job. I'm thinking you might have to "test" it some more. I've only done soap twice in my whole life so most of what you are saying is Greek to me but I'm learning. Thanks for explanation and good luck with your soap.

I have admit that I have never seen "coffee" soap before and yours looks pretty darn cool to me. I think I need to get out more often. :smiley2:

Wow, I just felt a flashback to the 60's looking at these soaps. They look great. Cool mix of colors you have there!

I don't see that you have an "About Us" that tells about your company. You would be surprised at how many people read those. You could add that to the bottom of your page just above the footer (clickable link to a new about us page or something like that). Also, when I clicked to verify "volusion secure site" I got this message: www.YourDomain.com is not a valid identity. And the biggie like some have said, the checkout page is not secure (no https). Is this website customer live? If so, then you better turn your store off until you can get a secure cert. Last thing you need is an unsecure checkout. Your checkout page must be secure. I'm assuming you just don't have all those details completed yet. Looks pretty good though.

Guilty!! Yep, I OD'd the poor wax and there's no doubt about it. I tried 6% too and it weeped (no additives & 1274 wax) so I tried the stearic(same 1274 wax) and fowled that up too. I got a real nice mottle but I had crud on the exterior and in the pot. I then thought I would try the polybooster and well,, we know what that did :rolleyes2 I hate waste too and I sure have been doing quite a bit of that here lately. Jeepers..

How much polyboost are you adding pp?

This may be a mute point now that I admitted to adding too much polyboost but I did pour very slow and I wrapped the mold in bubble wrap. I didn't box the mold as it was very warm yesterday (78*F inside). The previous pillars I had done I thought I poured too fast so I sloooooowed it up this time. Kind of a weird looking pillar but kinda cool at the same time.

I was going for a mottle. I poured at 180*F. I will have to check on the Polyboost..... Ok, I just figured out what I may have done wrong. When you asked me Pam now much Polyboost I used I couldn't remember forsure so I looked on the website where I purchased it thinking that would ring a bell. Well it sure did. I put in 1 Tablespoon pp of wax and the website said to use 1 Teaspoon! Jeepers, I must have gave the poor wax an overdose. :embarasse *faint* I've never been known to be the sharpest tac in the box LOL.

I poured this pillar over the weekend. I ended up with lots of bubbles in the wax (wasn't planed). I used 1274 wax mottling wax and I tried some polyboost to see if I could stop the seepage. I didn't add any stearic this time and I went down to 4% fo load. I did have a tiny bit of seepage when I took it out of the mold that went away after a few house. The yellow candle's that KrazyKelly's inspired me to make something nice and bright. I've never made a yellow candle before so it was kind of fun. Do you think the polyboost 150 caused the bubbles? I'm thinking yes.

That is the way to go if you are using the same wax with all those "mini" pours. It might keep you from ripping your hair out. Not sure about anyone else's but mine pretty much stays put. Just keep an eye on the temp until you have a good idea of what your pot will do. If it starts to creep up then just turn it off if you need more time in between "pours".

I've been out of the loop a little bit so I'm not up on all the new fo's but these below have always been good for me (soy wax/containers) and never a complaint. I've never had a problem with Peaks. They have an instant chat feature on their website that is real handy and they are always very helpful. Cinnamon Buns is good. I've never had a complaint. I have Ocean but haven't tried it yet.

Who isn't though? I think a person can find fault in most things but it's the ones that think they are right or have to be, that try to brow beat or bully to prove their point. I'm thinking that is a huge turn off for lots of folks that were regulars. Too bad. Life is way too short for that kind of thing IMO. Btw, I don't mean any disrespect to you at all SilverofWax so please don't take it that way. I guess we are getting off topic eh?

Banana Nut Bread is my FAVORITE of all time. Over the years I have never got tired of it. I haven't tried the one that CS make so I'll put it on my "to buy" list. Thanks for posting
