  1. @ShelleyF How goes the solar salt thig-a-ma-jigs? I mixed up two different fragrances in small Pyrex measuring cups. I'm wondering if I should have just spread them out on parchment paper as they are taking a long time to dry. GoldieMN
  2. So a person could send them an ounce from their reed diffuser bottles? Then you need to see if what is duped will even work with your wax I guess. GoldieMN
  3. I'm thinking the crisp, cellophane-type bags would work. This has been discussed here, but I don't know if the exact name of the plastic was mentioned. Maybe polypropylene? Rustic Escentuals sells them for one. GoldieMN
  4. LOL OMG, you are too funny!!! @Sunday GoldieMN
  5. @Trappeur Well, it gave you a chance to explain what is happening to the store. But that is so underhanded! I would be upset as well. GoldieMN
  6. @Trappeur Are you still using Cinnamon Broom from Fragrance Buddy? GoldieMN
  7. @Darbla I've also wondered about @puma52. GoldieMN
  8. This is the kind I had to get as I try to get other things done while the wax is melting and need an alarm to remind me wax is at my set temperature. GoldieMN
  9. AND there is no way they could get 16 ounces of wax in a pint jar. Isn't the label, by law, suppose to reflect net weight? GoldieMN
  10. LOL At about the age of 55, I started sticking up for myself and stopped worrying about what other people would think of me. I "turn into Olga", as we say in our family. Olga was my Mom who didn't take sh*t from anyone. GoldieMN
  11. @Trappeur If they happen to be on this forum, they could have gotten most the info from here. Conniving, greedy people is how I would tag them. I hope the wholesale account says no to their candles. I would be totally stressed as well. Get some of that chocolate wine and sit with your cats. Then figure out a way to take that skunk over to their house. lol GoldieMN
  12. @ShelleyF Great names! I wish I was that creative as I prefer to change the names of the oil used as well. But then I forget to write the original fo down. Now what oil did I use to make "Cabin in the Woods"? lol GoldieMN
  13. I agree with everyone on this!!! Sheesh! GoldieMN
  14. Ha! I was counting on you to do that. GoldieMN
  15. I just got my WSP order and love them! Can't wait to put them in my 464 wax. Included are: Freesia Peony Spiced Cranberry Pineapple Cilantro Twilight Woods Japanese Cherry Blossom Pink Amber & Vanilla Apple Pie Coconut Lime Verbena I already had Apple Balsam Pine, Santa's Pipe, Black Raspberry Vanilla, Jelly Doughnut, Sweet Pumpkin Spice, Warm Vanilla Sugar. GoldieMN
  16. Is there any reason I shouldn't pour my hot wax directly into pint jars, add fragrance oil, stir, then cure? For testing, I don't add wicks but poke a hole in the hardened wax to test wicks. In the past, I would heat wax in pour pot, pour into a glass measuring cup, add oil, stir, then pour into the pint jars when wax reached 145-150 degrees. How do you all do your testing? GoldieMN
  17. Maybe "Coffee House" from Rustic Escentuals? GoldieMN
  18. Sorry, this is incorrect, @Darbla. You can order as many sampler sets as you want in one order. I just messaged them to be sure. GoldieMN
  19. @Darbla I'm not sure, but I think you can order two or more of the same sets. Just can't order within a set, duplicates. GoldieMN
  20. And I hesitated ordering when my shipping came to $15 which included 21 samples and a pound of Amish Quilt which I need. GoldieMN
  21. @ShellyF I shouldn't have said it that way (I'm not that bad). I probably have close to what you have! lol GoldieMN
  22. Ok, I'm not that bad. . .yet. . . lol I was going to get rid of about half of what I have just because I didn't think I would ever use them. We will see if I actually do it. GoldieMN
  23. Oh, that's right. . .we have to be careful with plastic bags. Your ideas sound fantastic! Can't wait to see them. Black and orange=perfect for Halloween! GoldieMN
