  1. Thanks, OG...I just used 4625 and F.O.'s (nothing natural, lol) Appreciate the encouragement though
  2. Hi Everyone- Made ½ of a 6 X 9” mold-- about 4-1/2 “ high -- triple wicker, scent combo: Black Raspberry Vanilla, Strawberry and Patchouli using three 30 plys, with 4625 then poured the rest of wax into the other two molds I am trying to perfect. Used 27 ply on the round this time instead of 24, needed too much hugging on the 24. The 24 ply works fine on the spiral. They smell really good cold! Lit the 3 X 4-1/2” round for the second time --picture taken at the four-hour mark. It seems like one of the walls is thinning out a bit quicker than the other side but I am hopeful that the wick will turn around since I twisted it before pouring—no drafts were present. For anyone who uses the 6 X 9” mold--Do you actually measure the wick placement at the top of the candle (which will be the bottom) or just eyeball it? Or does it matter much since this is the bottom of the candle? If you look at the top they are a bit off center…. I am chuckling to myself-- I am taking so many pictures of these candles (more than posted) it's like they are one of my kids, lol, MY BABIES..!! Who has been there ?? Can I get a Whoo-Hooo on this ??!! I LOVE PILLARS!!
  3. Yes!! I was burning this today and thinking the same exact thing--It is strong and I love it
  4. Christmas tree, cedar garland, nutmeg ginger--- These are three awesome scents and will definitely be worth the wait!!
  5. They are all very pretty!--Out of the second set, I like #2
  6. Liking this tutorial JCA, candle looks great and I'm sure it smells yummy! Also going to try to wick my next pillar with your homeade wicking system--this sure beats the heck out of sealing the hole with putty or tape! Oh the things we can learn here....
  7. I know that sounded like a really dumb question, lol..... I guess a dark top to a light bottom would not really look that good!!
  8. Like those! Esp. the Sea Mist and also the concept of the colors gradually getting darker as you go down. Is there any particular reason that the lighter color should be poured into the mold first?
  9. Has anyone used RE Pumpkin Souffle? It seems that everyone is using CS Pumpkin Souffle...Any comparisons?
  10. I like that OG!! Ok then, I know you are feeling this too: I Can't Get No Satisfaction but Wild Horses Couldn't Drag Me Away
  11. Testing, yes, so much fun!! Perhaps what I will do is use the next size up on the round pillar since it is a little larger, which would be a 27 ply--don't have this on hand, will have to add to next order... I may just redo the hex and try not to touch it (this will be hard tho!) until I blow out at around the 4 hour mark. Maybe it's just me... Thanks again, JCA,
  12. Thanks JCA. Do you think I should wick up or down?
  13. Would like to know how much is too much hugging on a pillar? I used the 24 flat braid wick and as you can see the berry is burning faster because the mold was about 1/4" smaller in diameter. There is about 2-1/2" left on the green and 1-3/4" on the berry. I twisted the wick 4-5 times, did not use a wick pin when making. They have been burned simultaneously during testings. I feel like I need to play too much with the candles while they are burning to get them to burn down evenly. These guys have been burning about 3-1/2 hours now. This candle was hugged about 3X this morning while burning and I have been doing this on just about all prior burns. My concern is that a customer would probably not do this.... What should I change if anything?
  14. Eitsfan - Fillmore carries them--I don't see the dimension listed?? http://www.fillmorecontainer.com/70-oz-Pumpkin-Jar-wCover-P682.aspx?c=1

Puma!! Your creations are JUST GORGEOUS and you are an inspiration to ALL of us!! The 4 X 9 tri-color pillar is truly my favorite, now really! But then again all your candles are really great…. I always look forward to seeing what you will post and show us next -- I am totally getting into pillars now!! Thank you so much!! J
  16. Very nice JCA! I love the Cinnamon and Balsam.....
  17. Looks like a great site!! Just leave out the hyphen between the wick and the it when you search it!
  18. I am going to follow this topic very closely, OG--many thanks to all who respond !
