  1. I think my compulsion is buying them, smelling them out of the bottle and then getting online to place another order! I wish I had not let this get so out of hand, but it's almost like an obsession with me. I'm sitting here now looking at FO's on three different websites and have tons of new ones and even older ones in my craft room that I've only opened and smelled and put on the shelf. LOL! I've been going through them a little and trying to put them all on spreadsheets so I don't keep duplicating. I have quite a few I think I'm going to post on here and some are from ICS. Let me know what you're thinking about getting and if I have it I'll send it to you!
  2. Just let me know what you would like to try! My list from NG is longer! LOL! And then there's JS! I don't even know why I keep buying FO's. I can't even seem to get the ones I have in wax. (
  3. I'll probably hold off then. I haven't put but about of a fourth of the oils I have in wax and I guess I don't need another one even though I'm constantly looking! LOL! I did send you a sample of pumpkin cornbread from Backwoods so I hope you like it! Let me know what you think. That's one I haven't put in wax.
  4. Great! I might have to order this one. Is it strong? I love some of her oils but it seems like she has as many misses as hits, or at least from the ones I've ordered. But I love her buttercream sugar cookie and a few others I get from her.
  5. Does JS corn bread muffins smell like sugar corn pudding? Is it strong and sweet? If so, I may have to order it. I did get a small bottle of sugar corn pudding from NG and love the smell but wish it was stronger.
  6. I love their sugar cookie dough, wild berry mousse (which is the same as JS country berry hotcakes and Peaks CBH too), all of their coffee blends are good too. I don't think I've gotten too much from them that I didn't like. Frosted sugar cookie is good too! Their bear claws is good This is a list of some of their oils that I have. Orange caramel cake is great! I haven't put them all into wax and some I only have in samples, but if there's something you want to try, let me know. I can send you a sample! Most of what I've put in wax has been strong with a good throw! I think you would love their sugar cookie dough.
  7. You're right Karen! Someone needs to start a support group for us somewhere, not on here though. We're all enablers LOL! I've been trying to list all of my FO's on spreadsheets so I will quit duplicating and I have found more bottles that I absolutely forgot I have!
  8. I forgot I have sugared vanilla shortbread! It's good! Haven't tried the Cinnamon Toffee Apple though but it sounds good too! Thanks!
  9. So far I already have Snicker Doodle Butterscotch Pudding whipped pumpkin pie Black tea orange and almond Berry Vanilla Maple Butter Fresh Vanilla Voodoo Love Peach and sweet berries Wanted to get some more scents for Fall So far I have the following in my cart gingerbread spice cake holiday frost pomegranate cider pumpkin ginger streusel sweet sandalwood (not real sure about this one):undecided Am I missing any must haves? Thanks!
  10. I just got an order in from them a couple of days ago and got a sample of gingerbread spice cake. I love it! I'm placing an order and getting a big bottle while they're having a sale! Not sure if Snicker Doodle would be considered Fall, but it's a great bakery scent with lots of spice. Has anyone used their cinnamon sticks?
  11. If you're using a silicone mold then you can pour hotter than 160. I think the molds I buy from flexible molds and on ebay will endure up to 300 degrees. But if you pour into clamshells you don't want to pour hotter than 160, or at least I don't. They will melt if you pour too hot. I've whipped wax once and used container wax. I'm not sure if you could do it with a harder wax but container wax should be fine. I saw a video on you tube where a woman was showing how she made the crusts on her pie candles. It was some company online and had some nice looking pie candles but I can't remember their name. I do remember that it was real easy the way she made the crusts and she did several at a time. I was amazed! You could probably search you tube and find it. It wasn't hard at all and that would keep you from having to buy several pie crust molds. I know from experience that silicone molds can run into a lot of money. Hope this helps!
  12. I've only done a few embeds but no pie crusts. I use 4625. A woman that I ordered online from makes embeds and that's what she uses which is why I tried it in the first place. I'm sure someone else with more experience will give you some good advice. I wish I could be more help!
  13. Thanks for the info about Peaks BNB! I've only used the one from Houston Candle Supply but I don't read anything about them on here. I live within driving distance of 4 suppliers but have only tried BNB from one. What are your favorite pumpkin scents? I always have people here that want a good pumpkin in the Fall. I just got in several from JS but haven't put any of them in wax yet. I'm planning to send some to another member on here tomorrow.
  14. It's amazing all of the different preferences! I live in a small town in Texas so leather is really popular here and so is Mulberry, all year round! I can't imagine anyone choosing those over banana nut bread or sugar cookie! LOL!
  15. I went on Daystars website and she has Sweet Dani listed as a sweet annie scent. Hope that helps!
  16. Just curious what everyone likes and who they get theirs from. Mine is anything bakery! Especially banana nut bread (I've only tried one and it's from Houston Candle supply) Also cookie scents like buttercream sugar cookie (JS) and Mrs. Claus Cookies from NG. Second would be anything vanilla.
  17. I read on here that Daystar has one that smells like it called Sweet Dani. I don't know what sweet annie smells like so I can't say for sure. I can message Stacy and ask her if you want me to.
  18. I've tried a few sugar cookie dough FO's and theirs is the best! I've never mixed it but that sounds like a great idea! What would be good to mix with it? I'm not very good at mixing. Belinda
  19. I just got Tinsel, Christmas Cabin and Elf Sweat. They all smell great OOB! I've used Mrs. Claus Cookies too and love it! I don't use soy but I think these should all throw in soy, but that's just my opinion. Belinda
  20. I've only been doing tarts/melts less than a year so my advice could be way off, but, if you're pouring into a plastic cup or clamshell then you don't want to pour too hot or it will melt. If I'm pouring into clamshells I usually pour about 150-160. If I'm pouring into a silicone or metal mold then I pour as soon as I stir my FO for 2 minutes. I add FO in at about 180-185 also. Hope this helps! Belinda
  21. I've poured both and think they are very similar but that MCC's does have a slight bakery note to it. I've even thought about blending a little cookie dough in with it to give it a little more bakery note and make it even more different than their Vanilla Bean but haven't yet. Belinda
  22. I love Sugar Cookie Dough! It's one of my favorites! All of the coffee FO's are really good and strong too! Love their mango papaya but their's is the only one I've tried. Belinda
  23. Nice! How do you do layers like that? I've only done a few candles in a tin can LOL!
