There is still another purchase pending...it's from massivegoods.com We have it pinned down to which card was used and putting a hold on it. Grrrr!!! I also plan to use ShopSafe to get a "safe" number to use online that is not my real number.Does anyone know if there is some way or if we all should collectively report this to the authorities? Curious -because they told me (my merchant processor) that if I didn't pay it and someone's card numbers were stolen and they could track it to my account, I could be liable for up to $10,000 for each stolen incident. If you do some security breach googling on their website,,, you'll find this company has been in a compromising situation before with credit cards. And on March 3rd started getting calls from CC companies.Every credit card, debit card etc was compromised. Well over $10,000 but luckily it was caught in time. The survey I got to fill out made it sound mandatory if you processed through NPC and I was charged the yearly fee of $90 (I think that was what it came to) last week before I even knew what was going on. I probably signed something when I signed up authorized stuff like that but it doesn't sound like a bad idea at this point. I don't have customer cc's around here but I suppose the wireless transactions could be intercepted in a one in a million chance...I don't think you have to admit it...it can probably be proven eventually if it came through you. does anyone pay insurance on their own merchant account? I got an e-mail that said I had limited usage, They wanted me to change my password. When I went in to the paypal website from my web browser not a link in the e-mail, they wanted me to verify my debit card checking acct.# I will not do that.
