CSN wicks from CandleScience work the best for me. The 8 oz jelly is easily wicked. The 12 oz Status is a beast. Most FO's need a double wick, a few work OK with a single wick, and some do not work with either.

IMO, palm wax already has an excellent throw, so I would never add it. But someone might have some experience with it.

Now now, let's be nice. Besides, they will probably never post again...

Mostly clamshells at the moment. But lots of returning customers started off with my tart sampler sets. And I just got a review on Facebook from a nice lady who bought the tarts sampler, so now these are starting to sell again. Oh, I think lots of people bought the tart samplers for gifts around the holidays. People who know what scents they like tend to stick with the clamshells.

Hey now, us guys need to feel pretty, too! lol I personally prefer the more masculine scents (Merlin's Forest and French Vanilla and Oak are 2 of my faves), but florals have their place. As far as soap, I use my own or a bunch I got from Barbara (goat's milk makes me so smooth and soft...). I sell alot of candles to men in many different scents, but they are usually buying for wives. But I have yet to see any guys buy tarts! Must be too "girly" lol.

They are probably made exclusively for them. Just an opinion.

I use a 6% FO load in my candles.

I use alot of their oils in both palm wax candles and soy blend tarts (and warmer oils) and am quite pleased with them. I can't really think of any off the top of my head that didn't work.

If I remember (without checking cause I am feeling lazy), TKB had come up with a line similiar to the POP micas, just can't remember the name. Oh, and the Neon's are really bright in CP!!! Too bright for some purposes, IMO. But really cool, especially the purple.

I wash AND hand dry my glassware. Had too many issues with "clean" jars releasing the wicks. And I dry them to make sure they are nice and bright with no water spot. It can take lots of time, but it is not a waste of my time. Besides, as I'm standing there doing it all, I get some TV watching time in, lol!

If I can pick up the candle and move it to a new location without it being uncomfortable, I consider it good. Remember that some people will not use common sense when burning a candle. If it is just for personal use, as long as it is not hot enough to start a fire, then it is good in my book.

Alot of palm waxes have been discontinued or had their names changed. The Peacock one shown here looks like tortoise shell palm. I have not seen the tortoise shell in about a year, but I have not looked for it, as it can be a pain to wick. So you might want to search for tortoise shell. Of course, I might be wrong...

I would write a complaint. I usually don't do things like that, but with the PO trying their best to stay afloat, they need to take care of their CS issues. I usually do not go to a PO, as the mail carrier picks up my packages at the front office. But I have used a couple near me, and the CS has been pretty good. If not overly friendly, at least helpful. One PO actually has very friendly and helpful employees. The mail carrier on the other hand is pretty useless. He delivers mail fine, but has the personality of a frisbee and is ALWAYS on his phone (bluetooth), ALWAYS. Don't know how he drives down the road, lol!
