  1. I hope so. I use Cinn Stick, Almond Honey Pear, Spice Apples & Peaches, Lovespell, PomegranatePeach Magnolia Rasp and a couple more I can't even think of.
  2. I have been in the market for a new pumpkin. Last year I had people saying the Pumpkin Spice I have used for years is too spicy. After trying a few I am replacing the Pumpkin Spice with ICS's Pumpkin Harvest. Testers loved it and the one office show I took it to had great sales on it. I think this will be the favorite this year and I carry 6 pumpkins.
  3. In the interest of fairness, I have received an email reply from CS basically saying that I could wait for the item that was shipping from a different warehouse to be back in stock and then get it all in one shipment or buy 16oz bottles which are in stock but will cost me more than the 5lb jug. For me it just comes down to the fact that they can't keep their stock filled. If this has been going on the first 6 mo of the year, what will the fall be like?
  4. WTH is this split shipment? Do they still not stock both warehouses? I tried to call but of course no answer and no reply to email yet. Why have 2 if you can't keep both stocked?
  5. I tried the Aztec version and the one from RE and sent both to potential customer. Both were strong but the customer said RE version had more depth to the scent and more staying power.
  6. Lovespell, Cinnamon Stick, Christmas Splendor, Spicy Apple & Peach, Peack-Magnolias-Raspberry. I miss their Pomegranate!
  7. I ordered when they first started but at that time their fragrances were the same as Millcreek's and just renamed or sometimes not even renamed. Their bath and body line was the same also. I bought silver lids from them and they rusted within two months and the shipping was upcharged over the rate it should've been. That was my first and last order. It look like they have and possibly developed some scents of their own. They do have a way with words on their website. It makes everything sound like I need to buy it!
  8. That's the only info I have come up with also and I have been reading everything I can find. Thanks for passing on your info
  9. I had a customer contact me today and asked if candles or the fragrances would create any problem with their child's nut allergy. I have been googling and really cannot come up with anything either way. I use soy wax but then I also use paraffin wax and just the standard scents we all buy through our suppliers. Has anyone ever encountered a question like this or looked into it?
  10. I think I have at least a lb if anyone is still desperate. I didn't sell it well the first 2 times out and I set it aside and am using other scents to finish out this season.
  11. Serendipity & Honeysuckle are the two I can't do without from JS.
  12. I have done the dryer - eh. The top of stove - hard to regulate and they tend to get too hot and melt. The window sill works great but don't forget them or you get a solid sheet of them around the inside of the jar and it's a real pain. That said, the best method I have used is a horizontal electric space heater that I have in my office. I set a wire shelving unit about a foot away from it and put the beads up on the highest shelves. That keeps them from overheating and yet they get enough to speed the absorbing up a bit. Then I just shake and move the jars from shelf to shelf for a couple days.
  13. Christmas Cabin is an incredible seller for me from Sept-March.
  14. I have always used the Candy Corn from BCS and it is great. Have used in paraffin and soy
  15. Are you guys still in love with Mike's Creme Brûlée over their old standard? When I ordered they only had the Mike's now and I haven't compared the two yet. BTW, High Maintenance is over $35/lb now YIKES! Between that and the high handling charge it is hard to keep ordering from them. That new Creme Brûlée better rock!
  16. Sometimes I get a case that has about 20 in a short time that pop a hole and I pour coooool. Then I will go through a couple cases without a single problem. Its been that way for 5+years but I would still rather use Impact than deal with the eclamshells that I have gotten. I had to keep them aside and pour really spicy things in to try to overcome the plastic smell and the plastic is so thin that they were hard to open & close. It's always something!
  17. Tried to dupe it but the pumpkin pie I used was toooo spicy. Waiting for a sample of a less spicy pumpkin to arrive to try again.
  18. I've had the same experience. It seems like when they leak it is frequently in a small group of the same pour. Sometimes I have seen a very small spot on the PVC and when it leaked I noticed it was on that spot, like a flaw. Othertimes I have been trying to pour too hot and will melt a little weak spot I guess. For a while I poured 1/2 full and finished the batch like that and then started over topping them off to see if that helped, it didn't but pouring cooler def did. On average I have 10 max in a box that will leak so I haven't worried about it.
  19. The 51C would be my first wick to test if your 8 oz mason is a jelly jar style. Can't speak for the square mason, I haven't made them in a while. Good luck!
  20. Sorry rjdaines, my comment was simply addressing the general temp that I add FO, scent load and cure time that works for me, I didn't intend to list all the specifics for different containers that I produce. OP has actually nixed the cottons and CDs that I have great success with in 464. And I agree all FOs will not work, if only I had half the money I spend in testing scents back!
  21. Lovespell Cinnamon Stick Christmas Splendor Pomegranate Spicy Apples & Peaches Cinnamon Bread Pudding Peach Magnolia Raspberry Emailing also
  22. I use 464 and love it. 7.8% fo on most scents. I heat to 185 and pour when wax is cool enough to pick up the metal pour pot with my hands (not the handle). Not too scientific on pour temp but it works for me. 3-7 days cure and problem with CT or HT.
  23. I FINALLY finished the e-clam box and am thankful I only got one. I ended up pouring only spicy scents into them and things that I knew I would sell faster so the plastic smell wouldn't be an issue. They were all stuck together tightly, very thin and hard to open and close. I will never stray from Impact again :-)
  24. I had a gorilla shelving unit that wasn't in use so I use that. 4 shelves, 4' long and I can stack 5-6 bottles deep or a larger container for the scents I use more of. Mine are alphabetical. That is easier for me to use and then I use my scent list to take a quick inv when it's order day.
