Lightning Bug
Finally got the courage to try and overdip and this is how it turned out. I know it is green...didn't have any blue wax...I'll call it seafoam! Thanks for looking. Beth

snow
Beth...I think your seashell cane is very pretty! Like the color too. I also like the bigger starfish, can't wait to see one with the dolphin! Thanks to you for the plants....
musicaworld
Looks wonderful ! I was wondering if it would look better with the base color as sea blue rather than white.

Luci
I think it's beautiful and wish I knew how to do those! The color is perfectly appropriate for your application. Depending on the sunlight, the ocean here is more greenish than blue closer to shore.
Alajane
That's my favorite of any canes I've seen--absolutely beautiful!Makes me want to go to the beach.
Lightning Bug
Thank you all for the kind words. Now I have more confidence to try some others. I love the seashell look even though we live in landlocked Idaho! Followed Donita's tutorial. And, just got a case of cane wax yesterday so now have enough to really play with. Jeana
I'm not usually a cane fan, but that one is really cute. You did a great job especially since it was your first try. I like the color, it fits, and it is very soothing, just like the ocean.

Donita
You are getting better and better. I think it looks great. I like the large starfish. I have made some with just large starfish...in white. They were very elegant.Donita
