  1. I've ordered from them twice and had no problems at all. Sorry you did, though
  2. Since they are for fondant or buttercream, do you have to pour at a pretty low temp to not melt them?
  3. Do you use a softer wax? When cutting them, they don't break? They're gorgeous!
  4. I placed my order yesterday with all the great suggestions, so thanks so much. It's so exciting waiting for new oils to get here. Waiting for the cure time to test them ... not so exciting! LOL Thanks everyone!
  5. I don't know if it's a match, but Apple Clove Butter from RE is wonderful!
  6. I hadn't been to their site for awhile either and it's really nice looking now and quite the improvement. Wow, these are great everyone. I'm excited to place an order now! Thank you!
  7. I need to place an order with Millcreek for my daughter's all time favorite, Fireside Musk. ( I can't stand it... LOL ) Can anyone recommend anything else from there to try in sample size? I seriously need a good apple pie. Maybe they have one? I'd sure appreciate any suggestions. Thanks so much!
  8. Natural body heat? Back when I had hot flashes I might have been able to melt a tart! LOL Sounds like a snakeoil salesman spewing a big line.
  9. Peak Cabernat Grape is wonderful and very strong.
  10. I bought in bulk from Panic Plastics and I think they are wonderful. No smell at all and they pull right apart. When I ordered elsewhere it took forever to pull them apart because they were so packed together tightly.
  11. Yes, Edge Wholesale. I got the standard plate warmer kind with the bowl on top - plain ones and decorative ones. I think they were 7.56 - not sure if they can be found cheaper somewhere else, but they came in the same boxes as the ones from candlewarmers. Shipped like overnight, too!
  12. I order from perfume.net and fragrance.net all of the time and they always come priority mail!
  13. I never empty mine either, the presto or the turkey fryer, just keep adding to it and then cover it when finished for the day. I don't mix any FO in it, just ladle out.
  14. I think RE has the best Salty Sea Air out there. No perfumes or florals whatsoever. People who get it from me say it's very authentic. I have some favorites and that is one of them!
  15. I've been ordering from a place called The Edge. Very good prices and quality so far!
  16. She had a death in the family and won't be back for another week, so I'll give her a call after that. Thanks for asking!
  17. Sorry, I hit the wrong button before I finished... duh. I get my 2x2 and 4x4 zippered bags from Uline and the cute printed cello bags from Papermart. Make sure you type in polypropolene cello bags in the search because I do believe both places sell the other kind as well and make sure it says it in the description.
  18. Well, just from experience I would have to differ with what she said. All of the tarts I poured (a long time ago before I started reading this forum) that were put into polyethelene bags and portion cups had virtually NO scent left to them three months later. In fact, the FO had begun eating through the bottoms of the portion cups. I thought it was the wax and gave up on it, but have since found that using polypropolene absolutely does make a difference. I have some now that have been in bags and cups for six months that actually smell even stronger and no FO eating through the cups.
  19. I started with 6006 and it had super good hot throw. Adding the FO at 170 is way too low. I heated to 190 and added FO right after taking it out of the presto pot so by then it was likely 185 and then stirred for a good minute. The only reason I stopped using it was because it was so soft and I was worried about summer heat and mailing. Try adding your FO at a much higher temp. I always let it cure for about four days as well because of the soy in it.
  20. Jenna, I totally understand your pain. I live in northern Minnesota and placed an order last night for sixty pounds of wax. It was also over 150.00 with the shipping, but not much else I can do. There is no one around me to get wax from and in the winter up here, you don't travel much because roads are always slick and icy. And winter lasts about nine months!! LOL
  21. Expensive? That's an understatement. I have a spreadsheet I've used for a couple of years now in Excel and I try to not look at the total at the bottom. I'm normally good about entering invoices for my purchases, but I don't want to look at the total so they are accumulating in a pile because I don't want to enter them. Hanging head.
  22. I don't do soap, but I love looking at all the pictures posted. Pink or not, I think it's beautiful!
