  1. the pink one has silver mica in the middle top, but I think the rest is soda ash?
  2. What is lye bloom? does it look like soda ash? I did a craft show this weekend. Another soaper came up and had to find fault with my soap (Yes a hater)..She said I had lye bloom...I said no it is soda ash. I'm not too concerned about soda ash, it is only on the tops of my bars and no one else has ever said a thing about it.
  3. When millenium wax used to come from enchanted lites I added FO at 180. Poured at 110-120. always turned out great.
  4. Sorry, I really don't remember. I think either one would work, depending on what you like.
  5. I used it when I made bath salts. Worked fine. Not sure of the brand, got it from Ace hardware.
  6. This makes me so sad. NG used to be one of my favorite suppliers.
  7. When shipping check prices for "box in a bag" envelope or padded envelope. Usually save money.
  8. Never watched Game of Thrones, so I had no idea, thought you were talking about another wax. LOL! Then I googled the phrase . My take on the candle wax version would be "all wax manufacturers that keep changing the formulas, must die"
  9. Midwest waxes are supposed to be the same waxes that WERE enchanted lites. Regular 100% soy and the millenium blend. THOSE waxes were wonderful, especially millenium. I don't recall having to wait even a week for a 2 room filling scent. NOTHING is as good as it used to be
  10. I blend tobacco, vanilla and mint= Frosty's Pipe. Tobacco, cherry and vanilla= Santa's Pipe (or Grandpa's Pipe)
  11. Well, first off, lamp berjay sounds a lot better than what I read as lamb burger, lol! That flame was kinda big and scary, but it really looks interesting. I wonder if it really does what it says?
  12. Does anyone know of a supplier that has a dupe of this? Here is the description : Masculine & modern. This sophisticated premiere fragrance is infused with citrus, grapefruit, tart bergamot, and mandarin that deepen into an irresistible musk. A classic day-to-evening scent for any guy.
  13. I love making liquid soap! If my customers knew how easy it is they'd be making their own. (don't tell em, lol)
  14. Not even sure why they put them in there. Nuthin pretty about CHARRED flowers....
  15. Just noticed they are having a semi annual fragrance oil sale. Yay! @TallTayl what is your favorite lavender scent from them?
  16. Not much help but, In the melt and pour soapmaking group (on Facebook) they talk about detergent free being better because it was a true soap...and not a detergent. They are all into the M&P vs CP thing. I've never tried it myself so I don't know. I do love the stephensons (I think) bulk goat milk M&P, from Brambleberry, and so do my customers.
  17. I used to refill cartridges on my inkjet printers. I had a refill kit. It was pretty easy to do, just inject ink into the hole(s) on top of each cartridge. It only worked a couple refills for each cartridge, but that was ok. i'd buy a new one every now and then and keep refilling. But guess what...the cartridges aren't refillable anymore! No holes to inject the ink into. I dont think they even sell the refill kits anymore. I like canon ink jet printers, I'm on my second one in 11 years. They are workhorses and very inexpensive. Of course the ink is pricey, but they all are.
  18. I get my coconut oil at big lots. Forever it was $12 for 102 ounces. I see they just went up to $14.99
