  1. Anybody have opinions about these colorants or use them?
  2. Hey Candybee would a powder also provide the same properties as a liquid extract?
  3. Oh wow! Didn't know that. I had not planned on making any claims on that level. I have read several threads on here about the FDA regulations but thank you Candybee for the input and advice. :-)
  4. Yes I would love to know that as well. Does her patch passion do well in soy?
  5. Wow! So cool! She keeps adding more and more. I will buy samples of all just to smell them and test. Hopefully a few will fit into my line of candles and will be keepers. :-)
  6. Here are the links to the review sites I went to. http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Mountain_Rose_Herbs http://www.sustainlane.com/reviews/mountain-rose-herbs/OUHDCXN4AXDLRUPDUBMTYXTDV3MC
  7. Hi guys! I want to add Linden flower extract or powder to my MP soaps because I have read it is a powerful antioxidant for the skin. I have searched the web for places to buy and have found a few. My question is can I use the extracts that I find or are they for ingesting only? If not maybe I should try to incorporate the powered version instead. Part of the ingredients I see are this: Linden Flower Category: Organic Alcohol Fluid Extract 12-15% certified organic alcohol Serving size: 1/2-1mL, 3x daily Each serving contains: Linden flower fluid extract (1:1) Thanks for all replies and advice!!:smiley2:
  8. Has anyone order from Mountain Rose Herbs? I have read lots of negative reviews on their customer service. I would like to purchase from them but a little leery after reading all those crazy reviews. I have read positive reviews as well but more negative ones. Any personal experiences from this company would be great!
  9. I just read on someone's blog that they used 10 drops of EO per pound. I ended up using 1/2 oz per lb this time. If anyone has other measurements let me know.
  10. Hi guys! I'm making 16 1oz lotion sticks using Elements lip balm base and using Oregon Trails Bug Off EO blend. My question is I'm melting 16oz base at one time. How much EO should I use? PS- if you could tell me in a measurement instead of a %. I get so confused trying to figure out an exact percentage. Thanks so much for your help! :smiley2:
  11. I don't think she sells it anymore though. Does anyone else sell it?
  12. I have this EO. Not doing candles with it though. It does smell good but I mostly smell the citronella. It's on sale right now and I think I saw where the sale is ending soon. I would get some.
  13. That winter festival sounds interesting! Also I have some olive blossom from Elements and it smell identical to Floral muse iMO.
  14. I've seen this done on YouTube by a candle company that was showing how they made there pie candles. Very interesting and I hope you try this Comfort!
  15. Just stopped by MoonWorks and Rhonda has several new FO posted that will be in stock soon. Banana Nut Bread, Bella, Candy Cane, Cinnabon Dupe, Enchantment, Honey Bee, Saffron & Spice (which is a prebuy). Also would love to try the Patchouli Passion but the least amount you can buy is 16oz for $25. Does anyone use this in 464 soy wax? It sounds great!
  16. I haven't really said much about this but when we were in school most of us learned that something that could not be replenished in a persons lifetime is considered a nonrenewable resource and paraffin is made from oil which is an nonrenewable resource. We have have to practically rape the earth to get it and destroy animals habitats and oops I accidentally spilled some in the ocean. Soy is a renewable resource because it can be replaced in a persons lifetime. I'm not saying it's natural or better or what have you. Yes, I know that soy crops probably destroy habitats and cause deforestation in the rainforests. We dont really hear about soy crops on the news but we do hear about oil spills so that may be alot of the reason why people go to that place with paraffin. I don't really care what anyone makes or how they advertise their products I just wanted to add this to the thread. Please bash me if you like. It's cool with me. I still love you all!! Kisses! :-)
  17. This recently happened to me. The exact same thing. I use double ECO's too. I am now testing CD's to replace my ECO's.
  18. I would take those scents and make your own version.
  19. I completely agree! I was not saying that I didn't. Just wanted to say that.
  20. I'm not saying this is right because it's not. A little shady to me but that's why on my website I have people check a box saying that they understand all my policies before they can push that BUY button (Not that I'm a supplier) but if they choose not to read my policies they still agreed to them. I'm also not changing prices or shipping after the fact. Yes BCN should have it at check out or in plain view on their site. Just My 2 cents. :-)
  21. Mine are Summer Herb Garden Southern Sunshine Lavender Baths
  22. I think all of these combos are but you should pick scents that are complimentary to each other. IMO. :-)
  23. Blueberry something for the blue part
  24. Very very nice! Love the green colors. Really complements your products. Very professional!!! Btw- where did you get the stand to put your melts on? I need one for my upcoming shows. Thanks! :-)
