I use tray molds and they are very easy to use and unmold. Just don't pour your soap too hot so the plastic doesn't melt. HTH

IDK if this fits yours requirements but I like CS pumpkin pie and also Peaks. You could try a little mixing of a good pumpkin pie scent and add some pie crust, spice, and vanilla FO to it. Then you'd have a one of a kind scent. I did that with a sugar cookie because I can never find a really good sugar cookie. HTH.

I just wanted to tell all of you that I started a page on FB called What's That Smell? It was inspired by a similar page that saw. I want a place where businesses can promote their products while giving a place for people that buy candles to post reviews about their favorite shops, and handmade candle makers. I hope that you will stop by and "Like" the page and then tell your friends about it. The more people that "Like" it the more traffic we can all get to our own individual sites. I posted a while back that my soaps weren't selling and I got alot of great info about how to make them look better. Here's the thread below if you want to read. http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?98312-My-soaps-aren-t-really-selling&highlight= This weekend I remelted 3 of my soaps and remade them using natural colorants. These are all a goats milk MP base. Would love some opinions on how they look. TIA! This is called Autumn Splendor- I used calendula petals and some leaf decor as the background. This is called Baking in the Kitchen- I used ground cinnamon for color. Wish I had some baking things in the background. This is my Garden in the Fall- I used paprika for the orange flecks and dried rosemary(most of the rosemary floated to the top which is the bottom when cut) and took this outside next to some plants/flowers. Enjoy!

Ya know I don't really know. I did try to go to her page but she has it set to private and I'd have to friend her. This is my business page, fan page whatever people call it now and it has a "Like" button and not at friend request button. I have "Likes" with several other businesses and their stuff doesn't show up on my page so IDK. Just wanted to not be an ass if she was trying to be friendly. Anyway it's off and everything's fine. Thanks everyone for your thoughts on this. :-)

I had to remove her post. I just felt like that wasn't appropriate. Maybe if she had wanted to do a cross promotional post where I post on her page and she could post on mine. Anyway I hope I did the right thing.

Last night I posted some pics on Natures Garden FB wall for there show and tell. Well now one of the ladies that also posted several pics last night "Liked" my page. Which is perfectly fine. But now she has posted one of her fall candle pics on my page with her website attached. Is this cool to do? Is she being harmless? Should I erase her post? Thoughts please :-) TIA!

Well dang! I was hoping it was similar to a several FO that I blend now. Blending is not my favorite thing. What are some fall scents that would blend well with tomato leaf and rosemary? Maybe a fruit.

Just sharing a little story.... The receptionist at a chiropractor I go to gave me a flyer about a local crft show at her church. She has purchased several of my candles and knows I am trying to get my name out there. So I emailed the coordinator and asked a few questions about the event. After I sent the email I saw the application on the website. Duh! Anyway she did email me back and told me that this is their second year and last year they had 700 people come. This year she expects to have more (but didn't give a number' which I can understand) plus they have booked the band called December Radio (I've never heard of them). Oh and the big shocker was they already have a Scentsy Rep doing the show. I've decided not to do the show because even though they are providing tents for all the vendors and a 10X10 space is only $50 (we have to bring our own table and chairs, which is fine) I am worried my candles and mp soap will melt in the August heat (I live in Atlanta). Plus I have read that to only expect 1-3% of the total attendees to actual purchase your products. The other reason is I am worried about being at a show with a Scentsy Rep. I have read some threads here that were not good about the Scentsy reps at shows. I guess it's not juried. Lol! Anyway just wanted to share this story with all of you. Pass on your thoughts if you'd like. Hugs! :-)
