  1. When you go to Display New Content, there should be an options list on the left hand side where you can display new content by type and by time period. I have mine set to type as "forum" and time period as "2 weeks" and it will display all the new content within that time frame. Once I have read a post, it still shows up in the display however the title is no longer bolded until a new post is added. Are these options not something that everyone has?
  2. You got it! I will send the Pumpkin Chai plus a few others soon. Thanks again,
  3. Karen, thanks so very much! I really appreciate it and I will definitely let you know. Please let me know if there are any new scents that you might want a sample of and I can ship a goodie box to you as well. I havent made a ton that you probably havent already tried, but if there are any possible spring-ish type of scents (mostly fruity blends) that you might enjoy, just let me know. Dessa,
  4. Haha, it is crazy how fast it adds up. I started out by ordering just one eencie weencie little bottle of pumpkin oil to use as a freshener and 4 years later I have 2 of those 3 drawer stackable plastic storage sets completely filled to the brim with oils, plus bottles stuck here and there and anywhere I can find a spot in my armoire. The UPS guy just dropped off 1 of the 4 shipments I am expecting this week. This one was the wax. Ugh. So much for just wanting a little pumpkin room freshener oil.

  6. These all work well in paraffin (I only make tarts) Sugared Vanilla Shortbread Pumpkin Ginger Streusel Pumpkin Chai (my new favorite pumpkin) Blueberry Pie Black Raspberry Vanilla Maple Butter Salted Caramel Coconut Lime Verbena
  7. I second this one! It is in their KY line.
  8. Their Mulled Cider is wonderful and so strong - singe your nose hairs strong.
  9. Has anyone tried their Boysenberry? Just reading that name makes my mouth water. I grew up eating Boysenberry syrup (I think it was Knotts Berry Farms brand) on waffles/pancakes, etc., and would love to find a scent that smells like that syrup.
  10. Just now getting around to seeing this post. I third (or maybe fourth) the Lavender Vanilla from The Candlesource. It is a very soothing scent and strong. I believe the other one that I tried that was very similar to it was from NG.
  11. Karen, I would love to try one of your Baked Apple (AH/RE) and Apple Cinnamon from NG if you dont mind sending those two? I would also be happy to send you a few of mine to try. Are there any new scents that you are interested in sampling? Thank you thank you!!!!
  12. I tried making my own apple cinnamon blend using 50/50 macintosh and cinnamon stick but unfortunately the macintosh overpowered the cinnamon scent so back to the drawing board. Darn, I just placed an order from AH/RE last night and didnt include the Baked Apple. I will have to check my FO stash to see if that one is hiding among the endless sea of 1 ouncers that never made it into wax. On a related note, I bought a box of Celestial Seasonings Spiced Apple Cinnamon tea and THAT is the exact scent that I am after. Oh my goodness it smells heavenly and I have never even been a big apple fan but this tea is great!
  13. Her caramel apple pie and caramel cookie are both delicious. I second the orange vanilla latte. I use Cinnamon rolls from The Candlesource, but if I remember right, it smells just like the version from ICS and they are both wonderful. The Zucchini bread is a definite hit!
  14. Marcuset, that sounds just like my style (farmhouse/rustic yet still traditional). I would love to see pictures of your displays if you have any to post, especially the mason jars & burlap goodies.
  15. Oh, that is good! I thought maybe you were going to be doing more testing again. Glad your blend is working out so well for you!
  16. I just finished pouring melts/tarts in portion cups. I think I made about 25 scents. The last of them are in the freezer as we speak. Phew, now I am really tired. I had this past week off from work but between painting my kitchen cabinets and making melts, it hasnt felt like much of a vacation.
  17. Uh oh, sounds like Karen might be trying out another blend? Are you thinking about using parasoy on your bakery scents?
  18. I just wanted to report back that their Pumpkin Chai is so yummy. It has quickly become one of my favorite pumpkin scents. I like it even better than their pumpkin ginger streusel mainly because it is more well rounded whereas the PGS is very very sweet, IMO. If you havent tried it, it is really nice!
  19. I strictly use pre-blended waxes so I have never needed to add vybar. I have tried multiple combos but ultimately my favorite blend is a 50/50 blend of 4625/4630.
  20. I am not a big spring person mainly because I gravitate toward the bakery, spicy and the fall/Christmas scents, but here are ideas that you could probably blend yourself if you have the straight scents: Lavendar Vanilla, Cherry Limeaide, Strawberry Lemonade, Coconut Lime Verbena, Coco Mango (NG's - really good), Mango Peach Salsa, fresh strawberry, apple/pear blend, pomegranate, black cherry. Good luck
  21. I like Strawberry Passion from NG (never tried their strawberry preserves) and I also recently discovered that strawberry jam from BCN is very similar.
  22. I bought a pack of heavy duty wooden skewers that I use to stir fo. They really look more like skinny dowels because they are not pointy on the end. I have had the same pack for close to 4 years and only throw them away on occasion
  23. Interesting. I received an email from him today too. I have never ordered from Starville and didnt sign up for his emails or newsletters either.
  24. well now see, I went to every other section and looked in the stickies but for some reason that one escaped me, LOL. Thanks!
  25. I know there was an updated thread to the supplier list abbreviations & links. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I found the old one but that new one is hiding from me. Thanks
