  1. Well we thought we would update everyone as far as scentoils.com and our order we placed with them on 5/2/11, just got it in today 5/6/11 so shipping time was actually pretty decent overall. Now out of the 15 warmers we had ordered, they did call and tell us that 2 of them were out of stock and they would replace them with other similar ones. No biggie. Well the ones they replaced them with were NOT even close to the style or type that we had ordered in the first place.... Example is they said the timber wolf was out and same with the dolphin warmer (all electric btw, we don't do the tea light ones much), anyway... So we get the order and guess what...the timber wolf one did show up, but the dragon one we ordered and dolphin one didn't.... so what do they replace them with (keep in mind all the other ones were electric clear glass ones), so our 2 replacements were TEA LIGHT HIGH HEEL warmers! WTF! Not even close! So called them and of course got VM so left a message to work this out and we will see how long that takes now... They did honor the 15% discount that was offered so that was good and honestly, all in all we are happy with them. Not one single broken piece in the entire shipment. And we got a few of the poly resin ones that are known for breakage! So in closing, we are satisfied but frustrated with the lack of communication. And to think, these are the folks that want us to supply them with our custom warmers too??? Gotta rethink this one now....
  2. Thanks everyone for your super kind words about our works =) The pictured warmers can be reproduced of course, now we do also do custom designs for different companies that are exclusive to that company only =) If you would like one made or more info please feel free to PM us at anytime or you can email us at EccoLights@gmail.com =)
  3. Not ever dealing with the corn cob stuff (not our style) but with our crystal rocks (Aroma Jems) we use a dendric salt that drys them up pretty well =) HTH
  4. If I remember correctly we were looking betweet PayPal's Virtual Terminal vs. ProPay. Paypal is a per month fee and ProPay was a yearly fee but was only like $39.95 + a small % of the total. With them you can run CC's over the internet if you have a laptop OR they give you a 800# you can call them in with too =) I want to say they have the swiper thingy too that will store so many transactions in case you don't have internet at a show or what have you =) For us right now, we are in a local market each weekend and having CC processing would be great! But for the time being we tell our customers if they spend over $20 they can use the ATM and we deduct the $3 fee for the ATM =) People seem to love it when we offer that =) And guess we WON'T be using Thompson's either =)
  5. Thanks for the correction Envy =) I liked the sox's one too, wish I had a pic of the Yankees one we did, it was awesome =)
  6. Only NG here for colors =) They look great and get some nice vivid colors out of them as well as soft pastel colors too =)
  7. These are a sample of some of our custom painted tart warmers we have done =) Not that you would put them in there but they are dish washer safe and that paint isn't going anywhere =) Cost wise, we typically charge around $27 for these and do wholesale as well =) The first one is a cute 4 sided teddy bear, 2 sides have this image and the other 2 have a full teddy bear on them =) Did this one for a guys fathers day gift last year =) Many teams can be done on these =) Troy got way into this one =) A transformers tart warmer =) He actually got the Auto Bots language from google and inscribed on the top "Find All Spark, Save Cybertron" LOL The inscription =) Just a cool pride warmer we did with metallic silver too =) If I'm not mistaken, this one is sitting in Deb from NG's home office right now =) We called this one the Rubix Cube =) Ill probably spell this wrong without Troy here but a onk cross?? And a variety of others we have done =) Hope everyone enjoys =)
  8. I hear that Square is pretty good but wasn't there a long waiting list for the card swipper thingy? Were currently looking into this and also ProPay. Both seem like a great deal, guess it just depends on if you have that smart phone or not =)
  9. Seems that pretty much ANY pillar we have poured has needed a 2nd pour. Be it a seamless mold or a 2 piece. I think it's just part of a pillar? I know the wax shrinks while cooling that that causes the "shrinking" but poke a few relief holes and repour and it all works out for us =) Good luck & you have some amazing pillars btw +)
  10. We have to agree with the last 2 posters here =) In a way, with Wal Mart carrying the tarts and warmers that will only raise awareness about tarts themselves, which in turn will educate some customers as to a new type of candle enjoyment which = more tart sales =) YAY! Our clamshells are only $2.50 so we are so not worried about this =) YAY SHOPPING LOCAL! =)
  11. Thought we would update this today since the hubby decided to go ahead with the order with these folks. We placed an order with them last night and got around 20 warmers total.. first thing that got me was they had this big banner about 15% off use a coupon code....went to checkout and there was no place to put the code in at??? So hubby still says "Ah, who cares, lets do it anyways and call tomorrow", so we did. BTW, do have to say their shipping is VERY fair compared to many other suppliers. Called this morning and got an answering machine, left a message and about 6 hours later got a call back... maybe I should say the dreaded call back.... Three of the single warmers we ordered (all poly resin ones) were out of stock! No biggie, they were the fairy ones so we just told them to pick out 3 other fairy ones and we would take them, no biggie cuz we kinda planned on this happening. Now it's not even been 24 hours and just got the email with a tracking number for our order! =) So, overall I would have to say that maybe next time we will just call in our order to ensure they have what we really want, but other then that we are very pleased so far. I think most of it is that they got the dang thing shipped out within 24 hours of our order! Amazing! Granted it was only like 20 warmers, but if it was 200 maybe its a different story, who knows? =) We will let ya know when we get them and if everything was ok =)
  12. WOW! We are on Etsy too but haven't scooped out the competition for a while... but $15 for that!! Just WOW! Bet they don't have many sales??
  13. Hmm, sugar in a tart warmer... Im not sure to be honest here... I know I did some cinnamon rolls once and put real cinnamon sprinkles on top and it was fine, just made a little mess in the dish =)
  14. Nice Job! Love the deep purple color too =)
  15. All scented with Naked Happiness =) Now all we need is that dang shrink wrap =)
  16. Oh that looks great! They are so "fun" to make aren't they =)
  17. OMG Thank you so much! Ill show this to my hubby before we order now! I was kinda wondering about them anyways, they seem to have ALL the warmers pretty much that we see elsewhere... Thanks for the update!
  18. OOPS =) Thanks for the correction SuzyK, that's what you get for relying on a old mind =)
  19. eclamshell is the place, but I think they have a 2 case min and its around $131 a case or maybe it was $113? I think panic lets you go with only 1 case tho.
  20. Can't say we haven't done that too, with votives and did a pillar this way once too LOL I swear I have ADD sometimes LOL *LOOK! Shinney Bunnies!
