  1. I think many here are not "picking" on you at all, but due to your first post and question it does lead me (and probably others) to believe you are selling candles that you have not tested at all... I am aware that different scents can take special care in the same wax another scent works perfectly in, but before any thought of "selling" a candle or even giving them away is done, we test... and test... and test again. Something it seems that wasn't done here. I do wish you the best of luck in all you do.
  2. I've seen this done so many times it's hard to count anymore... Simply watermark your photos (via the post above here) or use a photo editing software to do it. As for this person, don't bother posting (well it is good therapy tho), just report the picture to Facebook and let them take care of it... The sad fact is, for every one person you find doing this, there are probably 6 more you haven't found yet...
  3. Same as many here, our tests are 1 cube out of a clamshell and goal is 10 - 12+ hours. If I did the 2oz portions cups (which I have in the past), I would shoot for 20+ hours for that minimum.
  4. I've used them now for business cards, brochures and banners and can't say enough good about them! Awesome prices and great quality compared to vista
  5. The best part is, when I search those terms... they are nowhere on the first page See how well that worked out for them LOL
  6. Yup that's an SEO trick that is so out dated it will actually hurt them in the long run... TIP: When doing your on-page SEO, you only want about 15% - 20% keyword "relevance" to your meta keywords. I'd love to know who this is so I could look at their meta keywords tho and see how stuffed those are too OTHER TIP: You only want about 5 - 7 meta keywords for your SEO on each page.
  7. Again, we only carry that one blackberry so I have never really looked for one... but dang if you're not right! Lots of blends of blackberry but very few plain blackberry scents... Seems the simple scents are the hardest to find at times... Good luck!
  8. Oh the joys of being able to play... now it's just work, work, work... Anywho, from my experience it doesn't go bad per say. I've had a bit for over a year now as well and have done things here and there and it worked just fine. On the wicking tho, be sure to wick up from what you think you should use... That stuff has such a high melt point you will need the heat IMO. As for fragrance it does have to be "compatible" with gel wax and for coloring we just used our regular candle dyes (liquid). Hope that helps and do note, we do not do gel candles at all for our store.. just for fun so if I said something wrong.. don't poke me with a stick!
  9. The only blackberry we even carry is NG's Blackberry Sage and it's on the upper half on our sales list. Does very well in parasoy tarts and soy candles for us as well.
  10. Oh you forgot they were PURE soy so no soot, no carcinogens and it even saves puppies too!
  11. I'm not a huge fan of the Bunny Burps either but some do enjoy it... Same with the Bacon, I personally say it smells more like the Bacon-Strips for the dogs, but others smell it and yell "Wow, it really is bacon!". It's all subjective IMO but the novelty of it sells it alone most of the times...
  12. This type of thing doesn't ever surprise me anymore... Let them exaggerate... in a few months they won't even be around to remember...
  13. Monkey Farts, Butt Naked, Bite Me, Bacon, Chipotle(sp) Salsa, Beer... they all are IMO novelty scents but some are actually very good. NG is our supplier of choice and I can attest to the Monkey Farts, Butt Naked and Bite Me (and even Bacon) being some of our best sellers for quite some time now. I do think the name sells them most of the times but once they are opened and smelled... the scent sells the best
  14. You can see my thoughts on WSP in many other threads about this same exact topic.... Over priced, rude service, don't care about nothing but the $$$... I've got more but I'll bite my tongue here and let things work out the way they will...
