  1. And that the wick size is appropriate for the whole container.
  2. But to further compound things, I used my other card many times at CS both last year and this year and I have had no problems with that card.
  3. I never participate in any of those quiz things on Facebook or click on any links in anyone's status. I don't have my page set up as a personal page. Its pretty rare for me to spend anytime on Facebook at all.
  4. I have ordered from Candle Science several times recently, with the most recent in late February. The card that was used fraudulently for me was a card I had not used since January 2010. I used my other card at CS throughout 2010 and in early 2011 and it has been fine.
  5. search horse head candy mold on ebay. There were some six cavity plastic ones there.
  6. I really like these. I like number 1 the most for some reason. I agree with Tracy and Scented though that I don't think of these as prim.
  7. The last time the compromised card was used was January 2010. The fraud occurred in early March 2011.
  8. Maybe you could do unscented centerpieces and then make wine scented tea lights to give away to all the participants. You could put them in a little cello bag with your business card.
  9. Wouldn't we have to look back to everyone we ever used the card with? If they store the info, it could have been stored for years. Why just last summer? Am I missing something?
  10. I have a different card on paypal. The one that was compromised was never used through Paypal.
  11. Your work is always so cool looking, Tracy. Great job!

  13. Amazon doesn't have this card number nor does paypal. If it were my other Visa, I'd never be able to narrow it down but luckily I didn't use this one very often.

  15. One thing you can do with a cute vintage container is to make a forever candle or see if one of your regular container candles will fit inside.
  16. This is true. You will drive yourself all kinds of crazy if you try to please all of your customers. You will end of with a gazillion scents, containers, waxes, sizes, etc., only to find out that you are stuck with most of it. As an example, I bet you could offer 1000 scents and there will ALWAYS be someone who wants something you don't have. Or the container isn't big enough. Or small enough. Or too country. Or not country enough. Or they like colors. Or that want dye free. Or they want different packaging or label. The list goes on. Research, pick your product, refine it, test it, make it better, test it some more, and sell it. Keep tweaking it until you have a winner. If the comments are consistent, then start researching it and determine if you want to add it to your line.
  17. Very cool bag. Love the colors.
  18. My fraudulent charges were to Crutchfield in VA which sells stereos, speakers, etc., and to Clinton Industries, a medical equipment supplier. That one really threw me. Brenda - wow, your person must have thought you were rich!
  19. I think Eric is saying that the spout on his Presto clogs. He is continuing from a previous post.
  20. I had that happen one time on a jar I was trying out. It was similar to the one posted by pleasure. I made a candle in it but never burned it because of the rubber smell. I kept that candle for about 2 years and the rubber smell never went away. I tried washing it, airing it out, soaking it, and everything but it still stank.
  21. I agree that it could just be a coincidence. But it seems like an awful lot of people who order candle supplies from the same suppliers are getting fraudulent charges in the same week. We would be remiss not to explore this possibility.
  22. I am wondering if our orders would have had to have been recent. I'm sure the suppliers keep our info on file indefinitely.
