  1. Hello everyone. Bought a case of the Anchor Hocking large clear pumpkin containers with lids. At the widest point, they are about 6 3/4" across. I use a 60/40 paraffin/soy blend (my own blend) and am using 8% fo--pumpkin pie from OT. I've got zinc, cotton, CD, HTP, and Premier wicks. I was thinking I should probably use 3 to 4 wicks for this width. I will be coloing the wax. Do any of you have any starting point recommendations for wicking on this huge container? Thank you all!
  2. Southwest (AKA Just by Nature) has some nice ones. I love their angel star, cedar & saffron, citrus & teakwood, creme brulee supreme, & they have the most realistic graham cracker I've tried (use it in a blend for key lime pie)
  3. Thanks Jcandleattic and Candybee--I appreciate the recommendations!
  4. Candybee, C&S is Candles and Supplies, right? Didn't you also post previously they have a really nice candy corn? I've only ordered from them once a long time ago, but thought about trying them again so wanted to get a list of good strong-throwers before ordering. Thank you.
  5. Hi Kimmeroo, not Belinda but Candlewic's sugared vanilla shortbread is fantastic--no spices, just buttery vanilla baked goodness!
  6. Called TCS today and (423)753-6920 is the correct number. Kim answered it, "KImberly's Candles". She told me they are working on their website and do have new oils coming in all the time.
  7. Thank you Scented--good to be back! I plan to call Tenn. Candle Supplies tomorrow so will post and let everyone know if either of the phone numbers worked.
  8. Cinnamon stick from Steve at the Candlemaker's store is the best straight cinnamon I've tried and is an excellent mixer. I have one customer that will buy this scent by the case. I've also used the one fromTennessee Candle Supplies with success.
  9. Sugared Vanilla Shortbread--so strong and rich!
  10. I do want a little spice in mine and I love the one from Oregon Trails.
  11. Thanks Scented and Mzpickles--I appreciate the information!
  12. Haven't been on here now for some time due to health issues, surgery, etc., so I wanted to ask if there's a place to go to find Tennessee Candle Supply's phone number. Most of my other suppliers are still online. Tried a google search and came up empty-handed. Any other sites you guys recommend to look up suppliers' phone numbers/websites? Also saw posts regarding Scent Works no longer being in business--is there another supplier that will carry their fos? Thank you everyone!
  13. Thanks everybody--I'm getting my list made to order. Keep 'em coming!!
  14. Searched this but haven't ordered from them lately and was wondering what your favorites are from them. Since samples are <edited to say on sale to remove specifics>, want to load up and try some new ones. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  15. Yes, I use several of their fragrances. They have the most authentic straight lime I've ever tried (and no fuel smell in candles).
  16. Thanks guys for your responses--I appreciate them!
  17. I was going to order the crystal clear shower gel at WSP and it's out of stock. Do any of you know who else carries the Crafter's Choice crystal clear shower gel? I don't order much from WSP any more because of the ridiculous prices but I do like this shower gel. Thank you for your help!
  18. Oh yes, Candybee, I tried that based on one of your past posts and it was DIVINE! I used the bay rum from OT, I think (will have to check my notes).
  19. I just love the Yank** scent trick or treat (true candy corn smell, NO maple) and saw that NG and JS have it. Those of you who have tried it, which one is true to the Yank** scent? Thank you. P.S. I have tried many candy corn, buttercream, caramel, honey, etc. scents and have blended them but still haven't found one that is true to this dupe. Any blend suggestions are greatly appreciated as well.
  20. I love coconut lime verbena so when I first saw this new one, I asked the clerk at B&BW how the 2 difffered. She said the CLV had been discontinued and the new CLB had more lime to it. I bought the shower gel and it does have more lime, specifically it smells like it has more fresh lime zest to it and I LOVE IT! Does anyone know of a great dupe of this new scent for candles and bath/body? Thanks!
  21. Yes, I love OT Green Irish Tweed and many other from them, but my fav GIT is also from TSW.
  22. Best of luck finding a true marine scent. I've tested many many ocean/marine scents and they're as you said--florals, musk, clean-types. Let us know what you find that's close.
  23. Thanks everyone for your advice. Fortunately, some of it leaked on paper towels and boxes, but there's a spot on the carpet about 6" across. I used carpet cleaner and then, as Beth suggested, I put baking soda on it to absorb it and hopefully, mask the smell. I may have to try the ZEP spray next. If the stain/smell is still there, I'll have to break down and go get the steam cleaner. I do know I don't want to eat or smell anything caramel for awhile.
