  1. Candlewic's sugared vanilla shortbread and Moonworks (Venus Candles) sugar cookie royale.
  2. Hi Deb425, that's exactly what I was thinking of doing because, as you said, cinnamon can be so irritating to the skin. I've got cyclo, so I guess I could mix 2:1 cinnamon oil to cyclo and see what happens. Thanks!
  3. My mom and dad have huge pine trees and lots of pinecones. I usually dip them in cinnamon-scented wax but my mom wants to simply spray the cones with cinnamon oil and set them out in a basket. Do I need to add DPG, cyclo, or something else to the fo prior to spraying the scent directly on the pinecones so the smell will last longer? Thanks!
  4. Got my order today The ones I got smell nice and strong OOB, but won't know how they really are until I get 'em in wax. The vanilla extract and vanilla bean both smell nice OOB--no buttery notes to my nose. Will post when I get them in wax and test burn.
  5. Love FMC's Christmas Tree. Smells just like the one I used to get from Tradewinds. Another good one is CS Mistletoe. I sell it as a Christmas Tree scent. Oh, I can't believe I forgot that one Candybee, thanks for reminding me. I do love Fillmore's Christmas tree--it's strong and such a nice blend.
  6. Peak's Spruce Christmas tree. I also love sugared spruce from WSP (Aztec and Candle Soylutions also carry it).
  7. Same here, I mainly use liquid. There are a few dye chips I still use for specific colors, but I prefer liquid.
  8. What is/are your favorite Christmas scent(s) for bath and body products? I really love sugared spruce, cranberry/orange or anything cranberry, and cinnamon or cinnamon/vanilla.
  9. I just ordered some ouncers as well: All Hallow's Eve, Christmas traditions, country road, hibiscus flower, island pineapple, stress relief, vanilla bean, vanilla extract, honey orange, and orange grove
  10. Poured pumpkin pie spice (poured into one of those glass pumpkins for my house--took 3 pounds of wax!), creme brulee, spiced cranberry (love this one), sugar cookie, sex on the beach, Spruce Christmas tree (love this one, too), country breeze, and cinnamon & spiced apples.
  11. No, but I did call and Steve answered--he verified that I had sent my message to the correct e-mail, so I don't know what happened. Gave him my order over the phone but thanks a bunch!
  12. I used to have Steve's e-mail address, but when I sent him a label request/order, it came back as mail administrator error. Does anybody know how to contact him directly through e-mail? Thanks
  13. I saw a company on ebay called Venus Candles and Crafts (not Moonworks) and was wondering if anyone had used their scents in candles. They have many scents listed. Thanks!
  14. sugared vanilla shortbread, peppermint patty, red mac apple, autumn leaves
  15. I just recently test-burned CW autumn leaves in my parasoy blend and it threw very well and was true to the name--I really liked it. Don't know if it's like BCN Hallow's Eve, though.
  16. I've tried both Daystar's and Ky's in candles only and Ky's threw much better--it's my favorite! Don't know about b&b though.
  17. Thanks so much! Same here--so many suppliers and scents/so little time!
  18. I found a company called Makes Scents Candle Company. Has anybody ever heard of them or tried their scents? If so, what was your experience and what would you recommend (or not recommend)? Thanks!
  19. Oh yeah, I also really like Scentworks Satsuma. It had some fuel in my parasoy candles but is wonderful in bath and body, tarts, clamshells, etc.
  20. I, too LOVE the smell and taste of cilantro. Interesting articles Stella--thanks for the info!
  21. I like juicy bits of orange from Genwax. Excellent and no fuel smell.
  22. Has anybody tried a sample of this yet? It's supposed to be specially-formulated for tarts, clamshells and wax chips. Smooth, opaque, hard surface consistency. Excellent release from molds. Excellent scent release when used with warmers suited to the 4826A congeal point. Proprietary additive package allows this wax to accomodate 6-8% fragrance load. Higher loads may be possible. Very good burn characteristics. Great scent throw. 140°F congeal point better suited for warm climates vs. lower melt point chip waxes. I was just curious to see what kind of results anyone has gotten that has sampled it. Thanks!
  23. Thanks so much everyone--I've just placed orders to test some more:)
  24. There are 30ml in one fluid ounce.
