  1. Great advice! Much appreciated!! Who would think we could get so obsessed with a scent?! Lol
  2. No luck so far so it might come to that Scented!!
  3. I am hoping to add that scent to my candle line if I can find it. Or just make one for every room in my house ? Thank you for all the options--I'm off to start looking!
  4. Does anyone know of a dupe for Lush Fig Leaves? I couldn't help myself and went in the new Lush store at the mall the other day just to sniff. Omg! This scent is to die for!! Does anyone use any other Lush dupes they wouldn't mind sharing?
  5. Thank you for all the advice. I think I will order a sample from both Peaks and BO & have my sister and friend test them since I'm not a fan of Patchouli either.
  6. I have read on here that there is a $300 minimum to order from Lebermuth. I am sure this is true, but I can't find it on their website for the life of me. Bulk Apothecary carries patchouli, which if I understand correctly is Lebermuth's, but it is $56 a pound while it is only $48.35 on Lebermuth's site. They are both more than I have ever paid for an FO. Can anyone suggest a patchouli that is comparable?
  7. I use soy and I use the Oatmeal, Milk & Honey (CM) version. I think it was Chermark? Some of my other favorites are: Warm Vanilla Nutmeg Main St. Christmas Apple & Pumpkin Strudel Pumpkin Pie (KY) Rustic Lodge & Bora Bora Getting my list together for them as well
  8. Does anyone use either or both of these scents? Their descriptions sound similar to me. I am thinking of ordering one or both from WSP. Any suggestions?
  9. I found the FO at Aroma Haven/Rustic Essentials. I love the scent. It is very strong & tart. I thought I might rename it because not many people know what Lingonberries are....including myself!!
  10. My favorite is Ginger Spice from WSP.
  11. Does anyone have any suggestions on a new name for this? Lingonberry Wreath Lingonberries are to Scandinavians what blackberries are to Americans – an abundant wild fruit free for the taking by anyone with a basket, a harvesting fork, and the patience to pick through and clean their harvest. Produced by low, evergreen shrubs throughout Scandinavia's forests, the tart red berries are much smaller and juicier than their distant cousin, the cranberry. Our Lingonberry Wreath fragrance oil celebrates this fruit with notes of red cranberries, juicy peach, grapefruit zest, apple slices, violet blossoms, and creamy vanilla.
  12. Hi maryta, some other "sweet" FO's you may want to try are: Homespun Sugar Whipped cream Sweet Tooth all of these are from Aroma Haven/ Rustic Essentials.
  13. Can anyone tell me what percentage FO they use in this base on average? Also do you use a pump style top on your bottles or will a flip/disc cap work? Thank you!
  14. I love Candlewic's Ultimate/Bold scents--they are quickly becoming my number one supplier. I emailed them late Tuesday night, expressing how inconvenient it was that they didn't accept Pay Pal. I was just in a mood, out of work, sick with pneumonia--sick of winter! I wasn't really expecting much of a response--I mean--it is, what it is, right? Early Wednesday morning, I had an email telling me they do accept Pay Pal, just email them my order and they will send me a Pay Pal request right away. I emailed my order to them and I had a Pay Pal request within 5 minutes! That was Wednesday. Today is Thursday and I got a UPS shipping status that my order will be here tomorrow!! Now if that isn't quality customer service, I am not sure what is?!
  15. Can anyone compare Candlewic's "Pumpkin Ginger Streusel" & Southwest Candle Supply's "Pumkin Brulee"? I am wondering if they are similar? I love the idea of a Gingered Pumpkin. (I read that Southwest's Pumpkin Brulee used to be called Gingered Pumpkin when it was a Greenleaf or a JBN scent. Feel free to correct me, if I am wrong please!) I use soy and wondered if anyone had tried both and could share any insight! Thanks
  16. I read somewhere that lanolin works as an emulsifier.
  17. Candlewic also has their "Ultimate" scent line which is supposed to be stronger than their regular line--I myself, am a big fan of their Ultimate or Bold scents. Candlemakers Store also has different grades of FO and a HUGE selection.
  18. WSP Raspberry Blitz is my favorite! My 16 year old son is always teasing me that I never make any good "berry" scents because they are his favorite. He gives this one 2 thumbs up!
  19. Can someone suggest the best place to purchase these? I have read that some leak. I am looking to make perfume oils and perhaps maybe some EO's. I am looking for 40 or so, to start. Thank you. Sandy
  20. Oooh! Thank you for sharing! I would be psyched with any HT after only a day's cure. Did you have to do multiple pours or was it a one pour wax? Is it pulling away from the jar? It's hard to tell in the picture. It sure looks like a pretty candle I might have to order some!
  21. Has anyone tried Peak's Cotton wicks with this wax? That is what they suggest to use...just curious if anyone has had any luck with them? Also what percentage FO do those of you that use this wax use? I played with it years ago and used CD wicks and all my notes tell me that I had horrible mushrooms AND smoke AND soot but awesome HT and CT. I am toying with the thought of trying again.
  22. That is so kind! Is there anything I can send you in return? I have oils coming out my ears
