  1. I wish I had seen this thread earlier--I think they are EXACTLY the same!
  2. Oh Darn--that is disheartening! Thank you for letting me know.
  3. Help!! KY is out of their Soy Whipped Body Butter and they don't know when they will be getting anymore in--AHHHH!! I LOVE this stuff and so do my customers!! HELP!! Does anyone know where I can find any like it? Does anyone have any they are willing to sell me? Thanks.
  4. Blonde Moment! Never thought of that! Thank you!
  5. Thank you Countyline for your help as well--I do have some 444 soy laying around also--maybe I will try that blend sometime....
  6. Thank you--Good advice, but I want to give them away &/or sell them in the souffle cups so I don't want to have to tell the customers to pop them in the freezer before they can melt them I am probably better off sticking with what works, I guess--which is the KY tart wax.....just thought I would try my own blend.
  7. I have always used KY's tart wax & I love it....but the shipping is a killer! Also, I have a case of J225 that I have no use for, so I decided to do some experimenting. I mixed the J225 with votive 4794 at a ratio of 50/50. I am using 1.5 oz. FO per pound. I make my tarts in 2 oz. Souffle cups & with the KY wax they pop right out nicely. These are not popping out at all. They are too soft, yet brittle and breaking when I put them in the freezer. Does that make sense? The first ratio I tried was 75/25 and that was too hard--wouldn't budge from container. (75% 4794, 25% J225) Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
  8. I am overwhelmed with the people that will go out of their way to help others.....thank you so much!
  9. Goody goody! Thanks for the info--I will wait and order then!
  10. Thank you Stella--I will look into samples, for sure. AND thank you KoalaGirl--that is SO thoughtful of you! If I don't make out with my free samples--I will get back to you, for sure!
  11. Does anyone know where I can order any CDN-10 wicks? JBN is Out of Stock on this size (& has been for some time now--not sure if they plan to re-stock) and Candle Cocoon does not carry any smaller than a Size 12. I would like to try them in my square mason jar (8 oz.) with C-3. I have read that people have succesfully used a CDN-12 or 14 in their widemouth 16 oz. Mason jars so I am quite sure they would be too big. I can't seem to find the size 10 anywhere on my Google search but Australia--EEK! I know the Scented Bean used to carry them?? (I found that in an older search on this forum ) Now I can't seem to find their website--do they still exist?
  12. Does anyone know where I can find Victoria's Secret "Encounter" FO? It is discontinued and I have a friend who LOVES it!
  13. Thank you so much Stella--I was hoping you would reply. That was very helpful.
  14. Thank you so much. I will be placing an order. If I may ask though--Do you prefer USA or CO? And have you ever tried Crisco?
  15. I am confused? I am hoping someone can help me? I have read several posts about USA purchased from JBN and I can not find it on their website for the life of me. I emailed them and I have not heard back from them yet. Are all USA's the same? I bought some from another company but it doesn't have a suggested percentage weight per pound to use. Any suggestions? I have also read that some people use Crisco as an additive in C-3. Has anyone had any success with this? Thank you.
  16. Does anyone use KY's Parasoy blend? If so, how is the CT and the HT? I have always used Ecosoya Advanced but I really think I want to start experimenting with some blends for better scent throw and less cure time and thought this might be a good place to start?? Can anyone offer any advice?
  17. Has anyone ever used "Pumpkin Crunch" fragrance oil from Wholesale Supplies Plus? I can not seem to get a wick to work in Ecosoya CB Advance for a 16 oz. Apothocary jar. The smell is wonderful!!
  18. Thank you so much. That was very helpful. I will get some orders out right away.
  19. Thank you so much! I might order a "sample pack" then. Their fo's sound interesting.
  20. Has anyone tried fragrance oil from the Jar Store? If so what are your thoughts? Thank you :smiley2:
