  1. Can I ask what percentage of FO you "blenders" are using with your parasoy combos?
  2. I love the idea of the cedar mixed with sweet orange and chile pepper as well--sounds great! I have never worked with EO though. Can I ask which percentage of rich you use?
  3. I love woodsy smells....oak, pine, cedar. Apples and Oak, Vanilla Wood, Earthen Oak... Can anyone suggest a strong, cedar or oak fragrance for soy that I can use as a mixer to combine with apple, cinnamon or vanilla? Any other combinations come to mind?
  4. SO happy someone else uses it!! I have just started playing with it but these are my findings.....Any zinc wicks I have tried have smoked pretty bad and the LX wicks have burned fairly well, pretty even, but I was not getting the HT I had expected. I only let it cure for 48 hours though. Do you let yours cure longer? Do you mind sharing what kind of wicks you use? Thanks.
  5. Does anyone use this wax? When I do a search, it seems I can only find older threads. Just wondering if anyone had any recent experiences with it they would like to share.....please and thank you????
  6. I am curious if you ever ordered either of the Dandelion scents? They sound like a great Summer scent--wondered if they worked out for you??
  7. Thank you!! Can't wait to try this!!
  8. When mixing 4794 and 6006, what temp do you pour at and what percentage of FO are you using? I am going to try this.....KY is out of their tart wax AGAIN. Thanks!
  9. Nothing! Great business tactics, don't ya think? I am now trying to find a good Apple Danish and a good pine, maybe similar to Rocky Mountain Pine....any suggestions?
  10. They are out of stock.....UGH! Does anyone know if The Candle Source, Spicy Apples & Peaches is the same scent? Any other dupes?
  11. I have not received my order......
  12. I know this is a very popular FO and one of very favorites also OOB, BUT I am having a heck of a time getting any HT from it. I have seen so many raves about it and how strong it is CT and HT. I would love to hear any tricks or suggestions anyone would be willing to share with me, as this is one of my favorites, year round. Really, any pumpkin.... I am using 464 with a tsp coconut oil per #, JJ with a CD8. No dye. Heating to 185-- adding FO. Pouring around 150. I let it cure for 1 week. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  13. Good to know, thank you! After SEVERAL phone calls, and an email, plus the order I placed over a month ago, I placed ANOTHER order yesterday. This time I at least received an invoice via email, no total yet, to include shipping and my card has not been charged. I am keeping my fingers crossed! I REALLY want to try Apple Danish and Rocky Mt. Pine BUT if it is this hard to get your hands on--Am I making a mistake??? Suppose I get hooked and love it like so many others....hehe--I think I have a problem--I think I want it more than ever now knowing it is so hard to get my hands on it.
  14. Have you had trouble in the past, Karen? It sounds like this isn't the first time this has happened....If it is "Hit or Miss" on ordering, maybe I am better off not having smelled it.
  15. I tried to place an order well over a month ago because I am SO anxious to try Rocky Mountain Pine and Apple Danish. I got no response. I have been calling there off and on for several days and left a message--no response...that's too bad. Such rave reviews! Does anyone know of any comparable pine or apple scents? Thank you.
  16. I love the looks of the Palm in there--thank you for sharing Steve! Where do you find a CD-3 wick? The smallest I have is a CD-5, from Lonestar. I agree with the above mentioned, I have had the same troubles with the little booger getting too hot with everything I have tried. I may try a CD-3, if I can find it and order some HTP 31 also...of course the smallest HTP I have is 41. Thanks for all the input
  17. Yes, Steve, they are 1.5 oz. actually . I bought mine at CS. Palm Wax would be nice--I bet they would be pretty and have a nice throw too. Please let me know if you have any luck, if you do try that. I bought 5 cases of the little suckers on one of my buying sprees and can't seem to wick them with ANY wax....thought it was a good idea at the time..HA! Anybody have any luck with ANY wax in this jar?
  18. Has anyone successfully wicked this combo? I have tried every wick under the sun with C3 in this jar and can't get this jar to work. I decided switch waxes completely for this jar. I wondered if anyone has had any luck with 4630 in the 2 oz. Hex Jar and if so, would you mind sharing what wick works for you? Thank you.
  19. Does anyone know what is going on with Candle Cocoon?? One of my favorite suppliers! GREAT customer service and awesome products! I NEED some Pumpkin Coffee NOW! (Actually yesterday!) LOL I placed an order online Tuesday and my card has not even been charged (or money held yet). I have been calling the number on the website and it just rings and rings......Previously, I have had my orders by now. I know, with other companies, this is not a long time, but with Lyschel, this is unusual. Does anyone know something I don't? Also--does anyone have any Pumpkin Coffee they can sell me??
  20. Thank you for your responses! My molds are silicone from Van Yulay, that is why I was thinking of raw wick--not sure how I would use any other kind? If that were possible, I would be all set as I think I have enough wicks to open a wick store of my own. I am assuming most people use the metal molds with a wick pin then? That way they can use the pre-made wicks?
  21. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! I can not seem to wick a 3x4 pillar to save my life....I have tried all sorts of LX raw wicks. I think I read that people have had luck with CD's (which are my favorite in jar candles), but where can I buy it on a spool and what size would be a good starting point? Also--are you have good HT. Thank you.
  22. Oh good because I was only going by OOB and I shouldn't be so quick to judge! I will have to wait and see, after I get in in wax
