    An interesting e-mail I just recieved from a major supplier in response to a query I sent them about ordering some slabs for testing and asking about this rumor (And yup, I had already planned to order a couple different ones from them before I read the post on this) And this supplier still lists their Astorlite waxes for sale by the slab, case and quantites up to pallets Their reply to me: "I do not know what time frame they are looking at, but IGI will eventually drop the Astorlite waxes. It may be months before that happens, but I would not waste time testing them."

    I see that - but that has a release date of 04/22/2005 The release date of "Honeywell has sold its Industrial Wax operations to IGI" is 06/27/2005 - which is over 2 months later So if IGI is calling the shots now, which they obviously are, and decided that they would discontinue a line for which they offer a similar product or plan to offer a similar one, I could still see them doing so Again, I sincerely hope this is just a rumor as I have already stated If it isn't a rumor there are going to be a LOT of very unhappy chandlers!

    Was reading elsewhere and read a thread saying that the poster had talked with someone at IGI about something and were told by the IGI representative that IGI was going to be discontinuing most of the Astorlite waxes over the coming year, including the J blends - J-50, J-223 and J-300 Had not seen this mentioned here so thought I would pass it on - May just be a rumor, but does kind of tie in with the fact that several suppliiers I have seen are coming out with their own blends - If nothing else, this post should raise some blood pressures!

    you go gurl! And I think I have someone else interested in ordering a couple thousand from you - I told em you could have em' all ready in a week and the terms would be net 60 days . . . .

    One small thing you might want to change - When clicking on the links under "Our Products" the link goes down to the product name and cuts off the picture of that product - You might want to move your tag up a little bit so it comes up on the picture instead of the name of that product

    Thinking customer service is becoming a lost art in America Things like this really make you stick with a trusted supplier when you find them don't they! This is why I am so happy to have found Peak's - They have top-of-the line products and their customer service is beyond outstanding! Now if we could only talk them into carring every single thing I want so I didn't have to deal with anyone else . . .

    maybe someone who has an account (hint hint) could let us know the wholesale price from candlewarmer.com or with heatedscents.com - Seems like there is definately enough interest in these for a co-op

    wow! Well, can't say that he is the craziest person I have ever run across, but then again most of the ones I run across I am giving meds to - but it sounds like he has even some of those beat!

    daniedb, you said it yourself - "My passion lies in creating, making, testing, and talking about my products," You have the passion for it - which means you are giving it your very best! Not even knowing you or your product I am positive that your passion for creating, making and testing assures that your product is great! And you wouldn't have that passion for talking about your product if you didn't put out a great product! Just go for it! It is going to work out great I am sure!

    this is a wholesale only site - you have to submit your tax id etc before you can see the prices - and I was thinking that was the site she did the co-op from?

    Great idea Robin! And you could limit them - only one could sell tomatoes and the next would only be able to sell potatoes, etc. - Make up all kind of rules for them lol Might not have a lot of participation but you could have a blast with it lol
