  1. like the one that Candle Chem sells? I have been looking at it and trying to decide if it is worth the extra money over purchasing individual molds. Big difference in price.
  2. Here is another site for a blueberry mold. She has 3 different molds. One medium and mini blueberries and one half blueberry. http://www.rosescandles.com/molds_silicone.htm
  3. I just tried going to her site and it says the domain has expired.
  4. I know adding beeswax to soy will make the melt harder. Will it help with making the melt smell stronger? I have never used beeswax and need your opinions. What is the difference between using white, yellow or filtered beeswax? Thank you.
  5. I saw a supplier one time showing how to dip your fingers in the wax with it burning. I thought there is no way I am going to do that and burn myself. Lawsuit waiting to happen.
  6. I would send Vickey at KY an e-mail and ask her. She is very nice to work with.
  7. I have been thinking about making foamer soaps but wanted to see if people are stilling buying them before buying the bottles? Thanks.
  8. I asked a supplier once why they carried the clear tumblers but not the frosted. I was told it is an expensive process to make the frosted tumblers and cost too much. I'm like you, like the frosted better.
  9. If you have not already done so, scroll down a little bit and there is a topic "Melt and Pour Soap Additive List" to read on what to add to Melt and Pour base that will give you lots of ideas.

  11. In your first set of pictures the area up by the ceiling kind of looks like part of Awesome in Shephardsville. I do go to Hazard, KY a couple of times a year. Next time I go to Hazard I will have to go the way by London and stop to shop. Thanks.
  12. Nice shop. Are you by any chance in Awesome Flea Market in Shepherdsville, KY? I am in Louisville. If you are in Awesome I will be coming to shop. If not, where in KY? I love shopping in stores like yours.
  13. If you have tried Essentials by Catalina Walnut and Sugar Scrub, which did you like the best? If you have tried just one of the scrubs, which one and how did you like it? Thank you, Donna B.
  14. I like the mold that I purchased before Christmas so my five year old niece could help make soap for her parents and grandparents for a gift. They turned out really cute. I only use plastic molds.
  15. I am looking for inexpensive soap dishes for melt and pour soap so they drain. Don't want wood ones. Does anyone know of a supplier who sells them? Thank you.
  16. Go to http://www.candlesupply.com/scentcategories.html one way they have their scents listed is by categories. Maybe this will give you some ideas.
  17. Cathy, That is the price on the website. Donna B.
  18. Has anyone purchased the tart molds from Candle Chem? Looking to find out if they are of good quality. You can get 50 for $12.95 and they hold 1 oz. I guess the reason I'm asking about their molds is they averatge .25 each where others I have found (same one) are around .50 cents each. How is their customer service? Any suggestions of other suppliers that have nice tart molds? Thank you.
  19. I saw where Southern Soapers is having a co-op on SFIC M&P. The cost for goats milk is $2.99 per pound which includes shipping. Wasn't sure where to put this. If you need to move it, go ahead. Thank you.
  20. I am going to help my 5 year old niece make some M&P soap for her parents for Christmas. I have enough samples of several types of M&P base. I have been doing some reading on CT board and have a few questions. 1. Something I'm not sure about. Does castor oil make the bar harder? If so, how much should be added to a pound of soap base. 2. I also read where you put goats milk powder in the base after you have mixed it with water. Is this tap water or distilled water? 3. What is the total amount of all extras combined that should be added per pound of base? Whatever I add to the base has to be found local since I don't have time to order. I know, last minute but my niece just asked if we could make this for her parents. Thank you.
  21. Does anyone know of a really good gingerbread FO that is body safe? I want to make some shower gel for our family. Thank you.
  22. I was set-up at a small craft show and there was this couple down from me and all they sold were wax melts and burners and stayed pretty busy. Just curious if anyone on this board sells only melts and burners. If so, do you find that you sell enough to make a profit that it is worth your time? I pour in the square mason jars and at that craft show I mentioned I needed to sell one more jar to even make my booth rent. I live in a large city and at most shows there are at least 10 candle booths. I think next year I will try selling only melts and see how that goes.
  23. I am wanting to make a body scrub and not sure which to make. If you have tried scrubs before, do you prefer oil or cream scrubs? Thank you.
