I purchased some ceramic dishes to soak my incense sticks in and then read to use either glass or HDPE plastic. Will it matter if I use the ceramic containers or should I really use glass? If I had to guess, I would say the ceramic would be okay but what do I know? Thank you.

I have cotton, HTP and zinc wicks. Does anyone know what size in each of these three type of wicks would be comparable to a LX 16? Thank you.

I have been thinking about dropping my small jar and only doing the 16 ounce because it seems like that is all anyone orders lately. Then I think about craft shows and wondering how well a larger jar would sell over a smaller jar? Does anyone only sell one jar size at craft shows? If so, what size? Thank you.

I just recently did a search on here for incense and found these two responses re: charcoal incense: "charcoal sticks they are the best for absorption" and "been doing incense for years and the best for fragrance throw is charcoal sticks" hope this helps.

I now have my new printer up and running. Only one problem. In the process of setting it up, it told me to change my resolution. Well now the screen is so big that I cannot see the X in the top right corner or the up/down scroll arrows. Curious if those of you that have the HP 2600 printer if it told you that you needed to set your resolution higher, if you did and if you had the same problem with the scroll arrows and the X not showing up. If so, is there a way to get around having the higher resolution?

I purchased the 2605dn printer, which looks like the 2600/2600n. Those of you that have the 2600(n) printer, I am in need of some installation help. First, I got to step 8 and it says to set default language, region and paper size. I cannot find the region to set it. Any ideas what it might me listed under? Second, I went on with the installation and was installing the software and got to the point to contact the USB cable. I got an error message that something was wrong (don’t remember the exact wording), but it never told me what was wrong. Any ideas what I could have done wrong connecting the USB cable? Thanks for any recommendations.

I have been using oatmeal raisin cookie from Bluegrass but since they are out, thought I would try KY's. Has anyone tried both? If so, which did you prefer? I use KY 125 wax. Thank you. Oops, spelled raisin wrong in title.

I know it needs to be a 5 in the triangle so that the plastic doesn't absorb the scent out of wax. What about on clear cosmo plastic bottles that you would use for lotion, hand sanitizer, etc. I purchased some off of eBay and there is a 1 in the triangle. Is it okay to use these for bath and body products? Thank you.

Before going into the candle business, we thought about getting into the dog treat business. I did some checking and from what I can remember you have to have a license for each treat. For instance, if you have a muffin and you have it in 5 different flavors, each flavor has to have a license and at the time it was like $50 or $75 per license or whatever it was called. Then if you have a dog cookie and have it in 7 flavors, same thing about the license. They are very strict in what you can and cannot do. Make sure you do a lot of research.

Has anyone used a spinner rack that has wheels? If so, is it stable? The one I am looking at is about 6' tall and has I think seven rows of 10 hooks, which would hold all of my clamshells and cardboard car tags. I was told that it would hold up to 100 pounds so I am guessing it should be better then the one with the cross bar base that someone posted was not stable. Thank you.

I now have everything to scent incense sticks and have been doing some reading and have a question. One place said to use a 50/50 solution of FO and DPG, one place I read to use 1 part FO to 2 parts DPG and one site said to use 1 part FO to 2-3 parts DPG? I am curious how much DPG do you use when soaking your incense sticks? Thank you.

I was logged in under my screen name and nothing is minimized or hidden. What is really weird is this is happening on my computer at work not the one at home. The one at home everything looks okay. Oh well, I can click on the word private and it opens up. Just weird.

This is really weird. At home, everything shows up. Here at work, the areas I mention do not show up and I do not have them minimized or hidden. Guess it is no big deal since I can click on the word Private and it opens up. Just curious why this all of a sudden happened.

I received my sampler pack from Soapers Workshop and really cannot tell the difference. If you have tried all of Soapers Workshop premade bases and only wanted to purchase one base, which do you like the best: Shea Butter Lotion, Decadence Body Cream or Indulgence Cream?

The folks at Bluegrass Candle Supply held a gathering for 2 or 3 years. I think it was held in Lexington. I don't think they do it anymore. There use to be a really good one up in Greenwood, IN (outside of Indianapolis) and the lady in charge quit doing them. I can't remember the reason why. The one in Canton, OH was held back in June or July. It is suppose to be a good one.
