  1. Thanks all, I'll try and figure out what color to do them in I'm just gonna make a few to see how they do after I test. Sometimes color doesn't matter as long as they smell really good. Thanks again. :smiley2:
  2. Those are great, I really like them. Love the colors also. Great job...

  4. would you use for butt naked. I got this FO off the classified. I was gonna pour some later tonight, but don't know what color to do it in. Oh another question, on my hangtag, I usually put a small pic of the scent, like with muscadine I put a pic of muscadine on the hangtag, what could I put for the butt naked. My daughter said to put a cartoon butt on it and blurr it a little and put censored across it. :rolleyes2
  5. LOL that is funny...but I like them, they look real too, good way to use extra wax.

  7. those are great. I bet they smell great also......:highfive:
  8. Made these last night. Made a couple of black pillars scented french vanilla, melted them down cuz left in the freezer to long and they cracked so made chunks out of them. The black bled into the uncolored wax, but thought it made an interesting gray. Yep I scented them french vanilla and thought I'd call them midnight vanilla.:rolleyes2
  9. Great chunkies. It looks like something good enough to eat.... Great job :highfive:
  10. Again great candles. Those look awesome. I like the licorice the best. :highfive:

  12. Yep you confused me big time. LOL But then it doesn't take much to confuzzle this old brain. :rolleyes2 Oh love the candles. :highfive:
  13. Wow, those are great. Bet they smell wonderful....:highfive:
  14. The counters on the sites don't mean that, that many people have viewed the site. you can easily change the hit meter. JMO
  15. Great candle, especially for your first. I'm pretty new to pillars also and I wouldn't dare to put my first one on here, or a lot of them now. I don't see anything to laugh at, its a great candle with great colors. Way to go. :highfive:
  16. Love those, you have got it going girl......:highfive:

  18. A big HOWDY from another Alabama gal. Welcome to the board. I have use J50 and J223 for containers. You have to experiment and see what kind of wax works best for you. Everyone on here have their on likes and dislikes. And I must warn you, this wonderful board is as addicting as candle making.
  19. wow, love the crackle, but would even love them without the crackle. Love the colors too. Great job.....:highfive:
  20. Hi Connie  Welcome to the board. Your candles are great, I really like the star one. As everyone said this board is as addicting as candle making, there are some really great people on here. (we're also addicted to all our smileys)
  21. I get them all the time, sometimes one big one and then sometimes a few small ones. I use hangtags so can't hide them, just have to live with them. If they are really bad I use the heat gun and it helps some but doesn't get rid of all of them.
  22. I meant to say Old Time Pottery. I guess I had Pottery Barn on the brain. Unfortunatly Mobile, Gulf Shore and Birmingham is waaaaay south of me. I live in northeast Alabama, about 10 miles from Tennessee. So I'd have to drive at too far to even think of going there the way gas prices are.
  23. I saw the seeds in the pears and things and now that you mention it,it does look like alien heads, and now when I look at them, they pop out at me. LOL kinda like an optical illusion.
  24. I thought maybe that's how it was done, but these candles, according to their site you don't have to do anything to them to get them to "blossom" out but let them burn for a long time. Sculpting effect is automatic and requires no additional interaction with the candle. Taller candles produce richer sculpting effect. sure would like to see one of these burn and do that without coaxing or anything.
