  10. I agree with ducky and margaritamama.... I copied it, and put it in PSP and enlarged it and it doesn't look a mottle, more like a marble. JMO
  11. Great candles, and I agree with everyone, the orange looks great, don't need to be toned down. They remind me of the fall foilage up here on the mountain.

  13. A big HOWDY from Alabama, and welcome to this board. These are the nicest most helpful folks you'll ever known. Any question you need to ask there is always a lot of folks on here that will come to the rescue. I found this board while browsing and I was hooked from day one. Can't wait to see some of your creations. Again welcome.
  14. I keep my chunks in a Glad plastic container or any container that won't suck the FO out of it, (if they have FO) and before I make my candles, I put the container of chunks in the freezer just long enough to chill them, that way the wax won't bleed. I don't know if anyone else does this but works for me. HTH
  15. I don't use soy but have the Strawberries&Cream, I'm not too wild about it, but it does have a great hot throw in J50 and J223.
  16. Looks soo real. Now I want some hot chocolate. Good job. :highfive:
  17. Wow, those are great, love those fall colors. Good job as usual. :highfive:
  18. Wowzers, those are beautiful (or beautimus as my youngest son says) I bet they smell devine also. Great job. :highfive:
  19. ROTFLMBO....Donita I think with the smarts you have about all this candle stuff you could not be a lunatic. I wish I has just a tenth of the knowledge about candles that you and a lot of others on here have.
  20. Thanks all for the help....now I have a headache...J/K I don't have any steric and won't be ordering anything for awhile so guess I'll just try and get a mottle someway without it, if it don't work, I'll just put em back in the pot. That's mostly what I've been doing lately anyway. Oh Donita, how do you stay sane with all that data going around in your head? I'd be a raving lunatic.
  21. Those are great. I think the pillars look good shiny. I love your container also. Great job. :highfive:
  22. I poured at about 175. I think I'm gonna try some more FO and think I'll wrap a towel or something to make them cool more slowly. I am determined to make a mottled if it takes me til next year . Oh another question, I'm soooooo confuzzled (bet that doesn't surprize anyone) ,does the mineral oil help make a mottled or make a shiny candle?
