  1. Made these for an order. Mulled on the left, laundry on the right. Kelly
  2. Here are my newest additions. Thought I would add them on for the upcoming season. Kelly
  3. Great idea Dee! That would work - especially for the larger pieces! Kelly
  4. OK - I am going to sound like a total knob because I am tool challenged but it is a bit you attach to a drill and the bit is for making holes...so maybe it's call a hole bit :rolleyes2 Dunno Kelly
  5. I have to admit - I learned that trick from a gal named Pat at a Candle Retreat hosted by Village Craft and Candle in Ontario. It's a great trick especially if you make embedded candles (with florals and such) Thanks everyone! Kelly
  6. Thanks guys! I was abit stressed trying to make this candle! I attached the daisies (which are small paper cutouts I got from Michaels in the card section) using a sodering pen. I melted a small pool and stuck the daisies in and voila they stuck!!! I tried spray adhesive first but that didn't work so I got the sodering pen at Canadian Tire for $5! I think it will come in handy for future projects! I didn't wick this candle...my fiance drilled a hole in the top the size of a tealight. I made her a couple of tealights in the lavendar colour to put in the hole. Kelly
  7. For a customer for her wedding this weekend! She loves lavendar and daisies so I hope I did it justice! Kelly
  8. Attached is a pic of my centrepieces. They will be sitting on a banana leaf and I will be making some glass t-lights to spread around the table. We are getting married in Costa Rica and are trying to incorportate the ocean/rainforest theme into our reception when we get home. Opinions are greatly appreciated!!! Kelly
  9. Thanks guys - the plain was referring to the scent!!! I love vanilla but it's not quite an "exotic" scent now is it? I have a few more with that colour scheme in vanilla - I'll post this afternoon. Kelly
  10. I use 4625 for my pillars and votives and I have no problem getting the rustic finish... Kelly
  11. It's a 4x4 aluminum mold - round! Kelly
  12. Suggestion please! Still new to the pillar thing and getting the wick right! New mold used 4625 wax, #1 BL SQ wick. Burn after 3 hours...me thinks I need to wick down but I thought I would consult the experts!!! TIA Kelly
  13. We thought it was a cool idea too! I came up with the idea as we are having a destination wedding but I researched on the net and found a great little company called My Personal Artist that specializes in beach themed wedding invites. Thanks again! Kelly
